Tonight's dinner was homemade (crockpot) lasagna, salad on the side and served with a glass of 14 Hands 'Hot To Trot' Smooth Red Blend while watching the classic James Bond movie, Goldfinger.

Note:  the wine selection was intentional because in the movie one of villain Auric Goldfinger's many business endeavors included owning a preeminent Kentucky stud farm (in one scene at the farm we see the trotters on the training track).

We're running low and need to make a grocery run soon. We scored a really large packet of ground beef which we separated into small portions and froze... for once I'm actually sick of beef and dreaming of chicken.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese for this girl here, LOL. Thankfully, I keep my pantry stocked with non-perishable foods. It is what I have been living on for the past three weeks.

I made homemade corn beef hash with a slightly over easy egg on top. I'm a big fan of hash (not so much out of a can though)

We made salsa chicken in the oven. Then used leftover garlic rice, mixed with fresh green beans, carrots and zucchini, had side chopped salad and fresh oranges. Had homemade ice cream with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. All food was made at home.

That sounds good! I love eating my corned beef like that but I've only ever had it from a can.
