This is NOT old  news, she just announced her cancer had come back.Just this morning.

I believe you're right.  Didn't she have cancer a few years back that went into remission?  At any rate, it's a shame.  I have had my share of cancer victims in my family.  It's a horrible illness.

It is old news.  I had never known of her being in remission.  Yes she said several years ago she had cancer.  It is not more horrible for her to have it than any of the other millions of people who have cancer.

It is old news that she has cancer. It is NOT old news that it has progressed to STAGE 4 cancer. There is a difference.

She doesn't deserve any sympathy because millions of others also have cancer? Then none of those millions deserve sympathy either, apparently? What exactly moves the blood and oxygen around in your body?
