This is confusing...can someone explain?
« on: January 27, 2020, 03:17:33 am »
Greetings!

I'm seeing an increasing number of comments that say tap isn't rewarding partial credit for surveys anymore.

I've done close to 20 surveys this week and I've gotten at least a penny or two for all of them!

I've made over $6 this week just doing tap surveys, and I can't for the life of me understand why so many others have such bad luck.

Does it depend on which one you click on?  Maybe some of the higher paying ones don't pay partially?  I just don't get it!

Can anyone explain this?

Thanks,
Jesse

Here is the deal with Tap:

Once you get complete a Tap survey and get credit, you will get some DQ pennies (depending on how much time you spent on the survey before you were DQ'd.  BUT... if you get DQd from a certain number (I don't know what that magic number might be) you will not get any credit until you qualify for a survey again.  Then the process begins again.  (In recent months, I have been able to qualify for at least one survey before I hit the DQ "limit", so I have been making some great money with Tap.)

Unfortunately, not everyone understands that, and they post about not getting the DQ money.

Hope this helps!

I do not know why this happens. I do TAP on another site and last year, I stopped getting credit when I did not qualify. I wrote TAP support directly and it was a glitch. They fixed it for me. Now,  for the most part, I do get some payment when I do not qualify for a TAP survey but not always.

Some other members wrote TAP support directly and were given a reason as to why this happens. Maybe they will jump in and explain..

^^^ This.

I used to do really well with Tap before they changed the rules. Now most of the time I get DQ'd before I even get a chance to answer any questions. So it has been difficult for me to qualify for a survey in order to "re-activate" my DQ pennies. Every once in a while I'll have a good day with Tap, but they're becoming less frequent. Enjoy the DQs while you can!

That makes sense.  I usually am able to qualify for at least one survey a day (sometimes two if I spend a lot of time on it) so my good luck is probably just a result of my extra effort.  Thanks to all who chimed in!

I do Tap all the time and I can not ever remember not getting at least .01 DQ.  I do qualify for some of them. I usually only do a few (until I qualify for the next days PTC)

Happy for those of you that still qualify for Tap.  I will continue to try.

It doesn't depend on which one you click on, its not always gonna pay out for all surveys.

I've never had that happen but I rarely go long without qualifying for a survey so if there is a limit I've never reached it... that might be something you can ask on tap forum, website, etc

I can't figure it out either, I miss a DQ penny once in a while, but get more than I miss. I don't bother trying to figure out why, I just keep trying and always seem to make it.

TapResearch Daily Survey - 5597b5dd
Jan 28th   $0.30   Approved
TapResearch Daily Survey - 69e50ba1
Jan 28th   $0.01   Approved
TapResearch Daily Survey - 88b71115
Jan 28th   $0.02   Approved

I will probably come back and do a few more later today.

I have read here in the past that once you are disqualified from a certain number of surveys in a row, the disqualification bonus stops until you complete a survey in its entirety. I am usually able to get at least a few completed surveys most days, so I have been fine when it comes to receiving the disqualification bonus.

It has been explained several times.

I guess I've had my head in the sand because this is the first I've heard of a DQ "limit."  I know it exists on another site I use, but hadn't noticed it happening for me here at Tap Research.  I, like oldbuddy, occasionally get zilch for a DQ, but I just thought it was one of those things.  I ususally get one or more cents when I'm DQ'd at TR, and I usually get to complete a handful of these surveys each week.  I heavily rely on Tap for my qualifying $.05, and they haven't let me down yet!

I am with you, I have never heard of a limit.  I usually get at least a penny and usually a few cents more.  Every now and then one dead ends (won't load or continue) or says "Limit reached" right away, but then I click on another.  TAP does me quite well.
