Easiest job to work

The easiest job I've worked was Telemarketing. I really didn't enjoy it but did it because it was the easiest job to get. Still is.

Telemarketing was my very first job. It was easy to get the job, but I was terrible at it. It made me very uncomfortable to try to convince people, especially seniors, to buy random junk over the phone. I almost never made my quota. I finally quit before I got fired.

Personally, it was last job as boat laborer. I only say it was easiest because I didn't have to deal with customers like my other jobs.

I'd say my current job is pretty easy.  I work in a homeless shelter.  I work overnights so everyone is already in their rooms or going to their rooms when I get there.  I walk around the house every hour or so to make sure everything is okay.....not too much else to do.

The easiest job I ever had was filling out postcards.  There was a company that did the mailings for charities.  They had people handwrite the request for money.

I do not see how that is an easy job.  You get cussed all thru your shift.  And from what I have heard if you are not making sales you won't keep the job long.  I guess it is easy in that you sit on your butt all shift and talk on the phone.

The easiest job I ever had was working at the dean's office at my college. I just had to do a little of everything, a little filing, a little typing, a little writing, a little at the counter with students. I guess because it was just a little of everything, I never got tired of it and it seemed easy!  :peace:

Telemarketing.  wow.  I didn't think of it as easy.  Aggravating for sure.  I think data entry was the easiest.  Also aggravating.

My daughter's first job was telemarketing and she hated it.  I'm not sure I would like it either.  Those are the calls I hand up on. :D

I think the easiest jobs would be one where you do not have to deal with people.  Even if you physically work harder.

I have never done telemarketing but did work a job through a temp service years ago where you called people and ask for donations to a charity. (the job only lasted about 4 days)  It was funny because we called people in our area.  And I called people I knew and they did not know it was me.  I remember a woman I had went to church with as a kid and her going on in a tirade on me.  I started to tell her who I was.  But didn't.    I guess some people think that is an easy job because you just sit on your butt and talk on the phone.  But as others have pointed out you do have a quota.  I had a woman I told no to on buying magazines from her.  She thought I had hung up but I had not and she called me a cheap b*tch.  I tried to find out how to call back and report her but of course there is no way to call them back.  My thoughts were quit being lazy and get a real job.
