I think one of the easiest jobs I've come across is transcription. Rev is "hiring" transcribers, even without experience, if you can type. They don't ask for experience or schooling. You just have to be able to pass their test. The pay is not great compared to working for a standard transcription company, but it's a great way to get  your foot in the door. Good luck! 

Do you actually do this?  I looked at it.  Rev has a lot of negative reviews.  I sent them an email asking a couple of questions about pay but could not get a straight answer so I skipped it.

Some people are making a very good living with you tube.  I don't know how you feel about you tube but, especially animal videos make a LOT of money.  I have videos running on my TV all the time that earn me money and, my favorite one to run, has a net worth of $600,000.  There's an 8 yr old kid that is worth 8 million from you tube videos.

I done something once that was an app through another site.  I had it playing on the tv.  It streamed all day long and only made like 20 something cents.  It was like the video set up on this site.  If you can get some good videos yeah there are people who make a killing.  YouTube pays you $1000 after one million views.  Then you can make money from the ads that play before the video.  You get so much money each time the ad is viewed.  Not sure if the ad has to be viewed in it's entirety.  I usually skip the ad as soon as it will let me.

So did paypal send you a 1099?  I had read where some people got messed up because supposedly paypal turned in earnings to the government and the person did not. SO they got audited.  And it was just a big mess.  The person was not trying to cheat anything.  They just did not know it was going to happen.  I looked at the Rev and was interested.  But a lot of people were saying you can spend 20 minutes just trying to type a 2 min task.  Then a lot of times it is still rejected.  So I did not know if it was worth trying to do it.  Supposedly some people make a full time income.  But people also lie so you don't know what to believe.  I would trust what I read on here about experiences.

It IS income.  Whether you get paid through PayPal or direct deposit or they mail a check to you.  You technically are suppose to report it on your taxes.  Technically if you walk your neighbors dog for $10 a week you are suppose to report that on your taxes as well.    Anyway,  The company only sends a 1099 after you earn $600.  I only know what Rev told me and what I have read on a site where people posted in a forum.  But it is hard to get people to answer you.  Like here I questioned something about Rev from someone who says they worked there but I did not get a response.

Someone said they got in a mess because supposedly PayPal submitted something to the IRS and they had not reported the income and did not know PayPal was going to do that.  I am not sure I believe it because I have received over $600 from the same company paid to PayPal and PayPal did not send me the 1099 nor that I know of did they report anything to the IRS.  The company who paid me the money sent the 1099. 

Rev told me they do not send a 1099.  They said you will get it from PayPal because PayPal is who is paying you.  NO, YOU are paying me.  PayPal is basically a bank account.  So it is not any different than getting paid direct deposit.  My bank does not send me a 1099 nor do they turn anything in to IRS for the amount of deposits I get through out the year.  I have looked at Rev before.  I have emailed with them.  There are too many unanswered questions for me to sign up with them.  And if you look at sites like survey police there are a lot of complaints against them.  But there are against this site as well saying they do not pay.  We all know that yes they do.

In order to send you a 1099 yes they would need your social security number.  PayPal does not have mine.  On a site like this if you have a payout that will send you over the $600 mark they will ask for verifiable tax info and you fill out, I think it is a W9, before you get the pay that will send you over the $600. I think I also had to submit a pic of a DL And you can't be cute and try to say well I will wait until next year to cash out (say if it is in Dec) because they still will not release it.

PayPal told me they only send a 1099 if you have a seller account and have x amount of transactions or x amount in sales.  A lot of people sell online and accept payments via PayPal.
