Artificial Intelligence
« on: January 03, 2020, 07:37:06 am »
Google AI has announced that it is more successful than doctors at detecting breast cancer. I guess it detects it more consistently and with less false positives.  They are saying you definitely need a human doctor to diagnose breast cancer but Google AI could be used as a second opinion/backup!  Another use for AI as it develops!

And National Geographic this month has an article that says virtual reality (VR) is being used to increase tolerance for chronic pain too. The recent advances in technology like AI and VR seem to be having a big positive impact on healthcare these days.

It would be so interesting to look into the future about 100 years from now and see what all has developed. There's no telling what we'll be able to cure and prevent. Sometimes I let my imagination run wild and I can foresee crazy sounding stuff like molecular transfer!

It will be certainly scary in maybe 100 years how far it goes where they have human like robots out there.  It is wild.

It's always interesting to hear how technology is constantly helping the growth of healthcare. I want to look more into that now.

Will have self driving trucks or already. Semi trucks driven by a truck driver won't be needed. Putting thousands out of work. Know we should look forward to new advances but  people will have to adjust.

AI will just put people out of work. It will also make people just lazy & unproductive. Too much tech is bad for people and society at a whole. Hopefully a lot of it never reaches the general markets

it's great for the future of AI but I've just got my labs done & sticking a needle to suck my blood out is still being done! It's 2020 & I'm still being treated in the mid evil times!
