Favorite Wine

I'm not a wine drinker as it makes me sleepy... that being said, my favorite would be a Riesling.

I like Moscato and chocolate wine.

Hard to determine a best wine for me due to the very large field. I definitely have a preference for bold reds. I have been more moved by bordeaux's lately (Chateau Leo-ville Barton being my latest conquest). Certain years of the Chateau Latour (Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot mix) have been exceptional. Chateaux Margaux's have been very consistent and never seem to let me down. Napa Silver Oak (rarely Alexander) is an exceptional mainstream wine and is associated with a great many fantastic memories. Movie and popcorn night or nights spent in front of the fire pit are good times for an older Chatenauf du Pape. During the summer I can go with an ultra simple Viognier, buttery Chardonnay, and for quiet, introspective nights enjoy a Puligny Montrachet Grand Cru.

I'd go with Sangria cause I'm one lonely MF'er who killed King Kings chances at a child without a goat handy while thinking of Iowa

I LOVE wine - the drier the better. I love it (almost) black, like I love my beer. Meaty and bold. That sugary stuff you all drink is basically fruit juice.

We have a winery about 20 miles away from us and we occasionally go for the wine tests. It is called Lakeridge Winery and they make a wine Called Southern Red that is very good. I'm not a big wine drinker but my daughter in law loves that one so I always buy it for her for Christmas and her birthday.

 Prosecco is my favorite variety...and other dry sparkling wines.

Must confess any good wine would be wasted on me... I could distinguish red from white and that's about it!
