I've eaten it a few times, but not too often, kind of expensive.

I have had lamb once in my life.  Rack of lamb.  I loved the taste was sort of disappointed in the size.  Must have been a young one.  I would love to go back to that restaurant and have that dish again.

How sad. lol  I ate veal once.  I did not know what it was.  When I found out it was a "baby" cow I was like no way.  And never ate it again.

I have never had it.  My daughter refuses to eat any baby animal. lol

All the meat you eat comes from baby animals, because the meat is tender.

Average age at slaughter:

Veal calves - 1-24 weeks
Chickens (broilers / meat breeds) - 5-7 weeks
Ducks - 7-8 weeks
Rabbits - 10-12 weeks
Goats - 12-20 weeks
Geese - 15-20 weeks
Turkeys - 4-5 months
Pigs - 5-6 months
Lambs - 6-8 months
Beef cattle - 18 months
Chickens (egg laying hens) - 18 months
Pigs (breeding sows) - 3-5 years
Dairy cows - 4 years

I am not a fan of it at all.  It tastes weird.

I have only enjoyed lamb once, after many tastings, and that was a New Zealand Baby Lamb chop at a really swank restaurant. My mother would cook it at Easter once a year and it did nothing for me. I used to have a pre-marathon diet that would allow me to eat unlimited lamb one night a week-I would just have a salad. I would be really surprised of Gyros had lamb in them because I am pretty good at detecting the taste of lamb. I am also not a big fan of sauteed calves liver, even when there are heaps of mushrooms and onions. My mother gave up trying to make it for me after seven years and I have not seen it in any restaurants. I do not like beets either. Other than those three things I can eat just about anything and love food.

Only had lamb chops once and was not a fan of them.  Also to expensive for the size you get.  I do love gyros but I  need more sauce on them or they seem too dry

The lamb we used to get was always greases, so I quit buying it even for special occasions.

I enjoy it when I can. I mostly either BBQ it or pan fry it with some other ingredients.

I'm a vegetarian, so definitely not. Even back when I ate meat, I never ate lamb.

As much as I like it, I totally understand those saying they would never eat it just because. Probably I wouldn't either if I hadn't grown up with it before I was old enough for it to click that lamb the food is the same thing as lamb the adorable little animal :/

I have never had lamb and the idea of it does not appeal to me I guess because we never had it growing up. My mom did try it in her later years which shocked me because she was a fussy eater somewhat.
