Holy Cow! I didn't know I wasn't in my country?
« on: December 07, 2019, 08:07:07 am »
A $5 survey. I figured I wouldn't qualify for this high dollar survey but it was worth a try. I never qualify for any over $.75 and even those are rare. Anyway, this time I didn't qualify because I wasn't in the country listed on my account. Really? I didn't know my home moved to a different country. How'd that happen? Did the name of our country change overnight or somehow my home slid into another one? What other excuses will these survey companies come up with to DQ someone? How stupid!

Did you actually go in to your account and look to see if that changed?  I do not think FC is available to people in other countries.  It may be though.  I have the add on that tells me where the surveys are coming from and the majority of them are not hosted in the us.

Yeah, that's the first thing I did. No change. No big deal. I didn't think I'd qualify anyway. Like I said, I don't qualify for  high dollar surveys.

Never thinking qualify for 5.00 either but did one for 6.00 on Facebook and one for 5.00 on Starbucks. Silly about the country you live or dontblive in. I was going to Google how we got the name of the USA.

Depending on what browser you use, and it may be all of them, you can get an add on that shows what country the servers are in for every website you visit.  It surprised me to find that the majority of the surveys are coming from other countries.  Makes you wonder why Germany has so many surveys that are political and asking who you will vote for.  I always click "other".  None of their business.

Yes, something smells very fishy!  Sounds like a $5 bait and switch.

I have been Disqualified too because of the Country thing. I think that it is crazy to be Disqualified just because of the Country that you live in.

Why?  There are a ton of political surveys lately.  WHY would they want opinions of someone in China about the US Election?  Their opinions would be worthless.  Same as surveys about Canada.  WHY would they want the opinion of someone in the US about healthcare in Canada.  The opinions would be irrelevant.
