Utterly Lazy Day
« on: December 03, 2019, 01:04:47 pm »
Have you ever had a day when you just couldn't seem to wake up and motivate yourself to do anything?  I mean you just sit around or lie around all day and watch the "boob tube"?  I swear, it has been one of those days where if someone had handed me a $100 bill and said, "Do something," I couldn't have gotten going anyway. One of the reasons could have been I slept a total of 2 hours the entire night, but I often have sleep problems.  Luckily, this doesn't happen often!  I hate it!!!

Almost every day for me is like that unless I have must do errands and/or appointments.  I have no motivation to be honest and since I am retired just as soon mess around on the computer trying to earn money - Oh and I do so love to take a nap.

I think we all have that type of day occasionally.  I love to have a day like that when  the weather is cold and rainy.  Time to curl up with a good book or watch a movie on tv.

You have a good reason to just sit around or lie around.  Migranes are serious business!  I have only had two of them my entire life and it was two too many.  Glad you are feeling better. I am hoping to have a better day tomorrow and hope you do too!

Sometimes on a sunday I wake up but lay in bed for an extra 30 minutes before getting out of bed. Every other day I am up at the crack of dawn. I just can't sleep in that much anymore :)

That was me today. Got up and took a shower and spent the rest of the day either online on different survey sites or watching tv.  Loved it!

Yep, I definitely have days like that. It's honestly a struggle to motivate myself to get out of bed everyday. It' just so warm and comfortable haha.

I was going to agree until the 100 dollar bill part, that may be more than laziness; that kind of fatigue may actually be a medical issue.

Usually, i designate days to do absolutely nothing since I'm usually so busy, but even on those days if there's something that absolutely has to be done I can motivate myself to get it done.

I agree; rainy days are my favorite days to have impromptu do nothing days.  I seem to take the best naps when it rains.

This morning almost turned into a lazy day for me. I was on the phone with my boyfriend for a few hours. When I ended the call, it was time for me to get up for work. It literally took me 15 - 20 minutes to force myself to get out of bed. Ugh.

That right there is the problem, which I understand. The lack of motivation is the thing I cannot seem to overcome.

Yes I have that kind of day from time to time too. The "cure" to getting like that is to get up off my butt, go outside and go for a walk or a run. That usually gets my motor started.
