Good for you.  I have not paid bank fees for having a checking account for years.  I was a customer of Wells Fargo,  but the suck.  I had many issues with them, my daughter had issues of her Debit Card number digitally stolen, up to a point that she would get a new one, and even before the new card got to her, it already was been use by someone else.  So we all switch to Navy Federal Credit Union and it was the best decision we had all made.  Credit Unions are the best.  I not only do not pay fees, the give me bonuses and I refinance my mortgage with them, Best decision.

I have never had to pay fees for a checking account but having an old account helps in that matter.
