Well another one bites the dust. I have big mobility issues and so I had one of the grocery delivery services which I found to upcharge the food way too much.  So I tried another one which I loved the shopper but I realized they were double billing me on the BOGO items which added up to over 50$ in November alone.  A lot of money on SS income plus when I called them they tried to act like I was stupid but they credited November and part of my membership fee and I cancelled.  So if I have to shop a little each day I will I live close to the store and I'd rather do that than get ripped off.  Lord only knows how much they got off me from August to now.  That's ok Karma on them.

Karma is not real.  But that is beside the point.  Do you not have any one in your family or a friend that would help you even if you had to pay them a little.  It would be cheaper to pay them $10 than what you were paying the other way.  It is sad that most don't help each other any more.  And if they do they take advantage.  And end up stealing from the person they are helping.  I know so many that have stolen from family.  Mostly idiots who steal from the grandparents.

Do you know your neighbors?  You could pay a high school kid a few bucks and they can shop for you.

A high school kid?  I would not trust a high school kid to shop for me.  Most of them are flighty and could not be depended on.  A lot of Walmart's have the grocery pick up.  If she could drive, even if she can't walk, she could go that route if it is offered where she lives.  It is not where I live.

Years ago I worked part time in a retail store and there was a guy who could not walk.  He would pull up to the door and when we saw him (at least I and a couple of the managers) would go out and see what he wanted.  He gave me his debit card and the pin to use it.  I got his stuff, paid for it, and took it out to him.  This years before the curb side thing was a "thing".  Just people helping each other.

Who wants to get Aldi delivered?!

(I heard today they had free delivery.) (I hear sometimes they may also have other days of free delivery.)

Does it seem strange? Does it mean anything?

I live in a very small town with only one grocery store and they don't deliver. I wish they did because it is hard for me to get out and shop.

I am so sorry that happened to you. Those people need to be put out of Business. I have been buying a few Groceries off of Amazon and some of their prices are better than WalMart. You should give them a try.

I'd rather get my groceries in the store.

You just can't trust anybody these days.  Everybody wants to make as much of the dollars as they can.  They hike prices up to 300% and still charge too much for deliveries.  You can't win.

I used to be lucky enough to have an Aldi next door to me, until they moved 3 blocks away.   I checked on their delivery service, which is 'instacart' and prices were at least 20% more, and that is before delivery fee and tip. NO THANK YOU!    :turkey:

Have no desire to use a grocery delivery as I like to see what I am paying for.  I hope that I stay healthy enough for the reminder of my years to be able to continue to do my own shopping

I have been really fortunate, I have tried several different stores and had good service with all of them.  I don't know how they would stay in business if they are ripping people off, I would not go back to their store for delivery or walk in if that happened.  Sorry for your problems.   I have used when a get into a time crunch, most of the time I like to go to the store,

My son's wife likes Walmart delivery, but my budget is too tight for delivery service. I would rather go pick it out myself.

My one friend uses Giant's service and loves it.  I'm sorry you got taken.  I think it's so sad that some people would rather take advantage of you than help you.  It's a shame the way the world is turning.

I hope you have reported these people that rip you off. They shouldn't get away with it with no consequences. >:(

I agree you should never have to worry about getting ripped off when you use this type of service.
