Looking for tech savey people to help, searching in address bar
« on: November 12, 2019, 05:03:24 am »
My computer has been messing up a lot lately and in the address bar I get a circle that looks like a globe instead of a lock. What is this and how do I fix it?

Click on the green circle and a drop down menu should appear.  What are your choices.

Is it a round circle with what looks like an 'i' in the middle?  If it is it means the info is not secure.  I'm not sure what to do about it.  I get that sometimes...even on some Fusion pages.

Is there any way to copy what you are getting and paste it? Or take a screen shot?

Try rebooting your computer and see if that will help.

That means the website you are viewing does no have https: from their provider and there is nothing you can do about it but leave and email them a complaint.
