I have answered you.You dont accept the answers.I have sent you links from JW.org.You dont accept them.
Because your answers are nonsensical at best, laughable at worst.

But you guys take it a step farther. Where in the scriptures does it say God's people are only to be referred to as Jehovah's Witnesses? Anywhere in scripture?

I dont follow you on your fabrication theory.

Why couldnt Jesus pay the ransom? He was Gods son and sinless and he represented his father.

I sent you the link on Jesus body.Did u read it?Plus he was a spirit then not a man.Jesus wasnt recognized.Mary knew it was him not from sight. And i told u what link said Re Thomas.
If Mary knew it was not him, who was it? And no, the scripture is quite plain about it. Christ accepted worship from Thomas- as God.  (John 20:28 “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.) ONLY GOD can accept WORSHIP.

He came to them in flesh and ate with them. He was not a spirit. (Luke24 38-42)
“Why are you frightened?” he asked. “Why are your hearts filled with doubt? 39 Look at my hands. Look at my feet. You can see that it’s really me. Touch me and make sure that I am not a ghost, because ghosts don’t have bodies, as you see that I do.” 40 As he spoke, he showed them his hands and his feet.

41 Still they stood there in disbelief, filled with joy and wonder. Then he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he ate it as they watched."

This is very important. Don't just throw Watchtower tracts at me, answer the question. How is this not the Risen Christ in the flesh He died in?

Again, this has nothing to do with scripture. If you believe Russel didn't dream this up from whole cloth, I've got some bridges I'd like to sell you out here.

Sorry the hell theory is symbolic to everlasting destruction.A loving God would never punish even his enemies that way.Satan wants us to think Jehovah is a brute just like he wants us to think Jesus is a poor babe in a stall when he is King of Kings.
Christ spoke more of Hell then He did of Heaven as a warning to us. Without punishment there is no justice. How would you like to have a loved one robbed or murdered and have the judge say "Sorry, I can't punish this man. I don't want him to suffer."

Where do you think Jesus was born? The Taj Mahal? He came in meekness and lowly like a slave to all. Man, you are so mixed up, it's painful to watch.

When the bible tells you not to judge a brother who has a special day for celebrating the Lord, and you call that brother a pagan, you are not saving anyone. You are spitting in the face of God.

But again, how can your Jesus save anyone when He isn't God manifest in flesh?

I have so much to put up that it takes a long time. I really wanted to start already but have been so busy. I must say that I usually wait on outside lights after the inside is done.

i think everyone has different reason why they put them up early..not that there is a certain time they have to put up...but maybe there i a sicknes in the family and they want to celebrate with them..we did this one time many years ago when my daughter was sick..she had to have an operation and we were told that he would never make it that long..so we celebrated before the operation..and he never made it from the urgery..o we had that time together..and maybe someone wants to remember...and there is nothing wrng with being in the christma spirit..ours will be going up soon also....

I saw a piece on TV this morning, but did not catch the entire story and was in the middle of doing something else so I may be getting some of the details wrong. I think it was a family in an HOA where other neighbors complained because they put up their outside Christmas decorations too early. I think there may have been an actual rule in the HOA regulations preventing this. Their response/excuse was that the mom was 8 months pregnant and if they waited until the allowable time was here, it might be too late for them to do anything at all.

On the one hand - when it comes to HOAs = if there is a rule, there is a rule! But sometimes people have a legitimate reason for bending the rules.

Breaking rules = if this expectant mother went into labor and her husband had to drive 50 mph in a 35 mph zone to get her to the hospital - IMO that is a valid reason to break the rule against speeding. And a cop who pulled them over would make this exception. When it comes to HOA rules about Christmas decorations, people are less likely to allow for exceptions (because then everyone will have a 'legitimate' excuse for breaking a rule)... but they should still have allowed this family to explain the reason for their 'violation' and ultimately should have looked the other way.

If you live in an area where there is a HOA then you agree to abide by their rules.  You can't really allow this one to break the rules unless you are going to allow every one else to do the same thing.  Because like you said everyone has what they consider a valid reason for breaking the rules.  I personally would never move in to an area where someone tried to dictate what I do on my own property that I OWN.  We do not have a HOA in my neighborhood.

As far as breaking the rule for speeding by driving double the speed limit no not all cops would look the other way.  A state trooper pulled a woman over for speeding a few months ago.  She said her husband was having a heart attack.  He said do you want me to call an ambulance.  She said no.  He wrote her a ticket for endangering the lives of others on the road.  She was driving 70+ in a 45.  She could have killed someone who pulled out and did not see her weaving in and out of traffic. He wrote her a ticket and they went on to the ER.  As for whether he was actually having a heart attack or just had gas I don't know.

I was brought up catholic  and when i dispute something like the cross it was what i was taught that supported bible and Gods organization.I always try to reference bible. Now i also realize that some still might not agree.

I promise you that when you were Catholic, you were never taught to "worship" the cross or any other "idols". Now that very well may be what you and many others perceive of the Catholic church or are mistakenly taught about the Catholic church and its practices.

“There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate The Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be.” -- Fulton J. Sheen
Listen, the catholic teachings dont support the bible. The trinity, the soul etc.The church is still filled idols.Mary worship, the hell theory. These are not supported by the bible.I dont  bring this up to argue with u.Just state my support of bible.Jesus isnt God.He is Gods son.I can go on and on.

The bible says remove wicked one from among you. They hardly did that during sex scandals.

As a childi was taught to burn in hell forever for eating a ham sandwich on a Friday?LOL!!

Listen again not looking to debate or argue.....Jesus said by their fruits u will know truth.I know who they are.A worldwide brotherhood that obeys Jesus commands to tell the world Gods kingdom will  soon take over the earth and already ruling in heaven. We all will need to make that decision whos world we are for. There are many that prefer Satanic manmade rule. But God has proven by allowing it after rebellion in Eden it doesnt work.

I'm not a Catholic, but I know that they don't worship statues or crosses.

I've heard him tell this sob story before---someone said he'd 'burn in Hell' for eating a ham sandwich on Friday.

So odd that he thinks that's an actual belief Catholics have, while he endorses far stranger JW beliefs such as Christ not being resurrected in His actual body, but going through the trouble of creating a new body...that looks like & has the same wounds as His old body...just so He could visit His Apostles.

I swear it's the most bizarre lack of logic I ever heard....
Plenty of info you can google to show how catholics thought then.I should know...i was catholic then Re Meat/Fri.

Far as catholics bowing down to images in church,it happens all the time when they walk by altar.I was just at a funeral in catholic church few wks ago.Pretty common ritual among church goers.

Seriously Lesley, your obvious reasons for supporting catholics now are obvious. But you are just foolish with them too for the same reasons you arent getting your way....crybaby,Go suck your thumb.

As a Protestant I have serious disagreements with the Catholic Church over theology, I make no secret about that. But unlike the JWs, they actually believe in the Triune God as their savior. Not some made up construct of Charles Taze Russel, who was so afraid he'd go to Hell, he re-wrote the bible to his own satisfaction.

I'm sure if there was a Catholic as hardheaded as you saying things like eating meat on Friday will send you to Hell, I'd challenge them as well. Fortunately, they don't seem to exist.
It was a long time ago i was a catholic. The time i am referring to if u ate meat on a Fri it was a mortal sin punished forever in hell.Go google it please.

I really have to laugh.....im being held accountable now for my catholic teachings 50 yrs ago.Typical of all of u seriously.Just one of many reasons i dumped it.

I did google it (since you couldn't because the Watchtower admonishes it's members from reading anything outside the Watchtower playbook- another hallmark of a cult.)
From what I found, it isn't considered a 'Mortal' sin, but a sin against 'the church'.

Apparently, the Catholic Church has softened it's stance on this issue over the years. But honestly, how can you mock the Catholic Church for this- when you believe Christ's body disappeared into gas? At least they believe in the Triune God.
Admonishes?LOL.OK so i guess i must have gotten lucky what i said about meat/fri issue.

Then u have to twist it around to mock JWs.....LOL....and then cos catholics agree with your trinity BS you have to bring that up?

U suckin up to UGETPAID?IC U already sucked up to CG.Of course i know answer.....anything to NOT make me look right. The more you guys attempt that...the more you guys LOSE!!!!You draw conclusions be fore you know anything. And then you have that offspring of viper that yaps and yaps and NOTHING comes out of her mouth or brain. Its like shes on automatic pilot...programmed to be a snake.

I knew it was a mortal sin b4 Ugetpaid did cos i think im older then he is and I was a catholic at the time.

Jesus body into gas?LOL....What did God do with Moses or Enochs body?

I have members of my family who were Catholic probably around the time you were. Nobody remembered eating meat on Friday as a 'Mortal Sin'. (They called it a 'Venial Sin') Whoever told you that was wrong, or that particular church taught that error.

Whenever someone agrees with someone hitch doesn't like they're 'sucking up' to them. lol

It's inconclusive what happened to Moses body. Enoch was taken up. Jesus had not ascended until after He returned to His Disciples.

So what you're telling me is you disagree with Russell about what happened to Jesus body? lol

Again, I answered you. Where's my answer on just one question? How about the one about the judge letting a criminal go. Shouldn't he be punished? Shouldn't God punish the unrepentant killer & thief? Shouldn't God punish Hitler?

First off, only God sees the heart of us.How do you know Hitlers brain wasnt so fried he thought he was doingthe right thing and deserves a chance to know truth.I dont say thay cos im defending him either.Remember the Apostle Paul was killing Xtians and thought he was doing righteous in Gods eyes till Jesus blinded him.Or King David who committed adultry and put Bathshebas hubby in front lines to die.God punished him but David repented.Judas sinned against holy spirit.NO resurrection for him.

In the case of Hitler if God finds him guilty NON existence. As with everyone else NOT on the side of God or accepts Jesus ransom

https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2009328

Getting back real quick on the Meat/Fri thing......it was a long time ago i was a catholic and i remember it being a mortal sin.....but even if i am wrong and it was a venial sin.....seriously...i have to burn in Purgatory for that?

Their doctrines didnt sit well with me even before i supported JWs teachings.

'Punishing' someone with nonexistence is no punishment at all.

Again, hitch....someone kills your son -your SON- and the judge says "I'm gonna give him a long nap as punishment." Do you feel that's justice?

God HAS to punish the guilty. If He didn't He would not be a Just God.

Again, God will resurrect the Righteous & the Ungodly. Refer to John 5:29
"Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment."
Judgement. Not sleep. Judgement.

Again, refer Matt 25, which ends with

“And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’

“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

First comes Judgement, then Eternal Punishment. You're not disagreeing with me, but Jesus.

So u think eternal life in heaven or eternal punishment in hell?

So what if A&E never sinned?Human race wouldnt die right?
What about Righteous will inherit the earth and live forver on it?
What about God didnt create earth for nothing but to be inhabited?

You see where i am going with this? And u know how we feel RE the 144000.

Bible says penalty of sin was death and at death man is acquitted from it.Nothing more.Dust isnt life.

No, I have no idea what you're trying to say. (Frankly, I'm not sure you do either) But in any case, you're ducking the question.

Lol...it's that time of year when that happens....Christmas lighting events are happening, lights are being put up...I love it! We need lights out at night when it's dark, we need the positivity, and with Thanksgiving being so late this year it's definitely not too early to start the celebrating.
