I always put my mine up the day after Thanksgiving because I host Thanksgiving dinner and it would be pretty crowded with all the tables and chairs that we set up.

I don't celebrate Christmas (or any holidays), but I do enjoy all the lights. I wouldn't mind if people strung up lights year round. It's pretty.  :)

This weekend I'm going down to the basement and bringing up some Christmas decorations.  We won't put the tree up until after Thanksgiving (family tradition), but the inside will be completely decorated.  Hopefully there will be a nice weekend so my husband can put the outside lights and decorations up, if not, I guess he freezes lol

Make him some hot chocolate. He will be okay. haha

Good idea! lol

Putting the outside lights out tomorrow because it will be in the forties.  Next week it will in the twenties and going forward it will just get colder.

Good idea! lol

I am all about people decorating for holidays whenever they want. I love thanksgiving, so I typically don't decorate for Christmas until after that, but I would never judge someone who wants to decorate the day after Halloween!

I have a friend that has a scary frankenstein thing on his porch right next to his Santa lol

I generally don't put up Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving. But, that's because I have a lot of Thanksgiving decorations. So I'm in no rush. lol

Congrats on getting a topic about Christmas to 3 pages without a visit from the Grinch. Most impressive!

The forum carries enuff to declare how pagan Xmas is backed up by the bible without it being mentioned or that 12/25 is Jesus birth. You can find other proof from other sites as well.

I am sure down the road a reminder here and there will pop up.Its such a sad world that ignorance has to have a hope.

You can read in the bible how God used his enemies for his purpose. How he allowed Babylon to punish his chosen when they disobeyed and when he wanted to restore true worship again how Babylon fell to Medio/Persia

IOW how truth can be presented here answering pagan beliefs and ridicule.Even if its to a few cos we have already been told the road to life is narrow and few are finding it.
