I personally would never, ever venture out to a store on Black Friday. I do not like crowds nor waiting in line, even though I might get a hefty discount on a purchase. To me, not being in a situation like that is worth every penny I might have saved! However, I think there are just some people who enjoy getting to a store really early and then shopping in a big crowd. My mother, grandmother and aunts used to do it every Black Friday and they got a big bang out of it!

I will definitely be doing some online shopping. I may shop in stores as well. I am not sure yet.

i love shipping black friday online! i dont like going to the store but i love doing it with laptop after dinner with my cousins we have a great time

I guess as long as I can avoid the middle of the mall areas, I may try. I don't know my mall is pretty small anyway. There is probably only one store I want to go to. It probably won't be that bad. I want to go other places too. Maybe the stores I want to go to won't even be in a mall. Just a store around town. I will have to wait and see.

I am curious, just had the thought, of how they get away with even allowing that many people inside of the stores.  I have seen video on YouTube of OUR Walmart.  It is insane.  There is not even room to move.  You do not walk or move unless someone else does.  If you try to get through the crowd you will get shoved back to where you were.  This has to be a major violation of fire codes.  I am honestly surprised there aren't more bad things happening on these days.  People are completely insane.

99.99999% of the people who shop on Black Friday do not die.  It is very rare that anybody gets killed shopping on Black Friday.

I always go out to shops on Black Friday but I do not get up early to go out anymore. Since so many people buy online these days, there area always still amazing deals in the afternoon or evening.

Some people like it. I use to back when the stores opened at 5am and that is when the sales started.  It use to be fun.  Society has changed a lot in the past 20 years or so.

What exactly do people need this Black Friday that is so discounted that going would be worthwhile to go to a store?  I could see it back in the day when Flat Screen TVs first came out & they were terribly expensive... & on Black Friday they were deeply discounted so the mad rush to get one was there.  I saw this week-end a VIZIO 50" Smart TV for under $250 at Sam's Club... TVs are so very cheep.  What are people looking to buy?  As far as I know there is no new technology out this year that people are wanting, so what exactly would be the draw?
