It's confusing when Black Friday is this year.  stores are advertising it now, but I asked about a TV at Walmart yesterday and they said Black Friday was this friday after Thanksgiving.  So I don't know when to shop.  I know it will be online.  I won't go int o stores with all the madness. >:(

It is the Friday after Thanksgiving.  It does not change.  Kind of like Christmas is Dec 25th every year.  Does not change.  When stores have their sales will be when ever they decide to do it.  You have to watch their ads. The people in the stores are usually clueless.

Walmart released their Black Friday ads already -- their preview.  It stated that their sales will start online Wednesday at 10pm & then open stores on Thursday/Thanksgiving at 6pm.  They have a 40" Smart TV for $98... pretty good deal if one is looking for a TV.    you can check all the ads here:   blackfriday dot com

Black Friday used to be on the Friday after Thanksgiving, but the shopping world is ever changing it's business model.

I already shopped early for black friday.  Found great price on a new laptop, pressure cooker and air fryer.

A family member of mines got a nice Laptop as well for the early black friday deals and I had an air fryer and its beyond the only thing I use most in the kitchen when I want something to snack on.

Nope, no way...Cyber Monday most of the way. I have been to the mall twice in the last year. Once was to drop off things from Amazon that did not work and the other time was to have a few of my watches serviced. I set out, about three years ago, to do all holiday shopping on line and have cut the mall cord. My kids will be home over Thanksgiving and I will figure out what they want at that time.I have already picked up season ski lift tickets and tickets for a few shows next year.  My wife just got a new car so I may get her a remote start so that she can come out to a heated car during the winter and cooler car during the summer. I'll probably order a few things for myself as well. I get to work from home three days a week (from my day job) which makes delivery of expensive items even better.

The stores do not close.  That is just when the sales start.  Black Friday is STILL the Friday after Thanksgiving. Stores are just having their sales earlier than that Friday.  Once one done it the rest follow because they don't want to be beat out.

I like that but the only issues is actually getting the correct items to your house and not damaged.  I am having some issues getting my stuff.  I get the delivery people are peed off because they don't want to work but they are being paid well to do the job.  And they knew what it was when they signed up for the position.  I have seen several online complaining about having to deliver packages.  Sad is some use their real name and even have their picture and if the employer saw the posts they may not have to worry about having to deliver packages any longer.

I shop both ways, in store and online.  I like not having to deal with people and I am happier with online when things go smoothly with delivery.  I am not going to go Friday and fight the crowds though.

I love Black Friday. Haven't been to one in awhile. I don't queue in line before day break but will pop into some of the stores when I get the chance to. Hopefully will get back to that in the future. I love cybe Monday also.

I hate the crowd, and all that traffic, this time of the year, and most of all the spending....
