Today is the day
« on: October 28, 2019, 09:02:36 am »
Well today is my first cateract surgery in the worst eye.  I never knew there was different kinds of cateracts but the one on my left eye is fast growing and very thick.  The one on my right eye not so bad.  Well prayers please if you are a prayer and positive thoughts if otherwise.  I will be glad when it is over.

Good Luck!!!   I pray your surgery will be a success & that your vision is restored back to normal, or close to it as possible.

Will be praying and thinking of you today.  Hope it goes smoothly and you heal quickly and easily.  And in a few weeks you will be seeing like you did years ago, if not better!

So sorry to hear that you had to go through that. Everything will be fine...I hope that your recovery is quick. You have had a busy schedule, no? Didn't you just move as well? You have conquered two of the top ten stressors who's company includes: death of a loved one; separation or divorce;getting married, starting a new job; workplace stressors (work efficiencies/coworkers for example); Financial problems (who doesn't have these?); retirement; transitioning to adulthood. I do not have many stressors other than financial (constantly working) but anticipate, as I get older, chronic illness (never know when that will hit), death in the family, and maturing to adulthood-men never seem to grow up!! Best of luck, health, wealth and happiness to you! Thanks for the post!

debidoo, I just saw your post now about 12 hours after you should have had surgery.  I hope it went well!  I have heard that a person's vision is clear as soon as surgery is done.  My hope is that is your result.

It seems a bit scary to have surgery of any kind on an eye but my personal experience was that it is a common surgery that eye doctors have perfected.  Very rarely is there a problem.  You should come through it fine, be able to see somewhat better, and lastly, good luck!

Praying for you.  I've heard you can see much better afterwards.  Hope things work out and you will be back on fusion soon.
