I'm having my first Mammogram today. Regular screenings are a crucial part of early detection and prevention.

I am 81 years old and haven't had one yet, but I am not really worried about it

i'm 57 and I have them every year, it is very important to get them, my mom died from Breast cancer in 1988. So my mammograms have all come back clear. Thank God.

Hey Smarty Pants, men get breast cancer too.  Thankfully for you it is a non-issue.    I get one every year.

I'm still too young to get one. I think I have about 14 more years to wait.

Men do get breast cancer although I don't know if they can have a mammogram.

My daughter just had her first one and she said it will be her last.  Did NOT like the experience.

My wife gets one every year,  but she has added incentive since she is 20 year Survivor of breast cancer.

Please get one every year.  I skipped a few years, last few were great so I guess I don't have to worry and can skip a few years.  Wrong...after skipping two years I had one....came back positive.  Ended up have to have surgery, 4 months of heavy chemo, and 36 radiation treatments.  I have Stage 3 cancer.  Please get one, don't be like me.

this was the 1st year i had a call back. very nerve racking!! They didn't explain it correctly. My head knew everything was fine but my emotions did not!
Fortunately, everything was fine. :pumpkin: :peace:

I have one done every year and so far so good but there are others that are not so lucky so if you have the chance try to get one every year just to be on the safe side.
