I need to look into that, I bet it can even spell.
It does need your help for the obvious (like to, too, or two), but it does a pretty good job for me. I always keep my browser open and paste in any word I have concern about.

Does it have as many errors as the speech recognition software that I worked with as a medical transcriptionist? It would take a few minutes to read the text but lots of time to correct the errors. It was a real pain.  It would've been nice when typing patent applications for my attorney buddy. Those would beat least 30 pages and I got tired of typing. LOL
The purpose I suggested using speech recognition for was taking surveys and participating in this forum, a lot less demanding Vocabulary than any kind of medical transcription or legal work.

That is truly awesome and a great share for some of us who have similar issues.  I have steadfastly clung to my falling apart laptop because I liked windows 7.  I just got notification though that the date is upcoming that there will be no more software updates so I am going to give up and get a new laptop with windows 10.  Especially after reading your post

It's comments like yours that make me glad to post hopeful ideas for making life easier. Put your old laptop on Craigslist when you are comfortable with your new one and someone might use it for Linux to give it new life.
