Happy First Day of Falll

After today, the days start getting shorter. I like the fall though because it's not too hot. It doesn't feel like fall today though, that's for sure. 90 degrees and sunny, lol.

The weather is beautiful were I live. The high today is only 78 degrees. The wind is blowing and the leaves are falling as I type. Love fall weather!

It  doesn't feel like fall right now. We are having to run the AC'S  now. But early this morning it was  cooler then normal. I love going out on the porch with my first and only  cup of coffee and  watch the birds and listen to them chatter . But this moring everything was  still cool.  I guess they know more then we  do and we have been watching the migrating Birds start to bunch up be fore heading  South. But it will be a while before the geese and craine's start to come here. As soon as the farmers  start harvest they show up / We will hear them all day as they come in.

So glad it's finally here, I love Fall, but the weather here in Ga. is still in the high 90's, will be glad when it gets cold.

No sign of fall in north Texas today, but finally got a brief afternoon shower after reaching 96 degrees.  It's muggy outside; the temps are going to continue in the above-normal 90s so we still need the A/C.  Guess we'll just have to dream about cooler days down the road.

Spring and fall are my favorite seasons.  Spring, because I'm planning and planting my garden.
Fall, because harvest is over and I can rest from gardening.

Today 100 degrees so not  fall weather.  Fire danger too  but so much better then last year's fire.

I got 82 degrees, down from 106 last week!  Happy fall in the desert, eh?
   This has been the worst summer ever here as the temp shot upward we had Excessive Heat Warnings nearly every day.  Summer won't be missed around here, that's for sure.
