I am a major introvert. I love to be alone most of the time and am slightly uncomfortable being in large groups of people.

I am somewhat of an extrovert. I enjoy talking to new people and generally pair up with the quietest person at a party in order to make them feel more comfortable. I have no problem going into a meeting with ten people that I do not know (as long as I have had ample time to prepare or am well versed on my subject). I use to be afraid of speaking in larger groups (twenty five or more) so I entered a speech contest that was supposed to have five judges and less than one hundred people. It ended up having over five hundred people. My speech was well prepared, well delivered and I came in second place although I do not recall speaking in front of the crowd. I had practiced enough so that the speech was delivered easily. I even asked questions, answered them satisfactorily but still do not recall speaking.

I am introverted so I have to pretend to be social in real life.

I'm definitely an introvert - to the extent that I need to live alone.  Sometimes I enjoy a little bit of social interaction but I always love going back home where I can experience some solitude and inner peace.
Have a great day!

I am neither.  I know a woman who says she is introvert.  Basically she is an attention hog.  Back when I did Facebook she posted one day about how she needed to disconnect and everyone to please understand and she was going off FB for a while and blah blah.  It was not 30 minutes til she posted I'M BACK!

smh.  Then turn it off for 30 minutes.  Nobody cares.

I call myself a "flexovert."  That means that depending on my mood, the event, the people, and how long I have spent time to myself, I can be an extrovert.  I have been told by people, at different times, that I am an introvert or an extrovert, but those are people who have seen me in only a few situations for a short time.  I guess I would have to say I am more an introvert than anything as I increasingly enjoy my own company and have to have time to myself!

I can be either an introvert or an extrovert, depending on the situation.

In some situations I am; generally if I am in an unfamiliar setting I may be an introvert until I become more comfortable  with the setting or the people.
