Things I thought funny

I am watching an old comedian.  He was popular when I was a teen.  Man he could make us laugh.  I am watching him now.  His old show.  I am thinking what did I think was funny about his act?  Don't get me wrong.  He was very talented but his stand up act was lame.  I guess I never watched that until today.  He even sounded like he was tired of it.  Do you ever feel like that?  Watching something you at one time thought highly of and now when you see it you think what the heck?

I've watched shows that I saw when I was younger that I wonder how I could have been interested in watching.  They are so corny and lame now.  I did realize a lot of things on Laugh In really went over my head when I was younger.  Now I know why my Mom objected so much to me watching it.

My hubby was watching an old rerun of Miami Vice the one day and the acting was so so bad but back in the day we thought it was great.  LOL .. I'm not sure if it is because my attitudes have changed as I have gotten older or if it is because the technology and special effects are so  much better now.

There are some old shows that I love to watch now, and would never have watched a few years ago.

You change as you get older.  It is like tv shows like the twilight zone was scary way back then but now it is just goofy because technology has allowed to show stuff that is really scary. lol
