Mass Shootings NEED to stop!

Why would kids under 21 get guns & ammos?  Need to change gun permits to 28 years old!

Gun buyers need to take a class how to use guns & NOT TO SHOOT PEOPLE!

Did any of them ever get physic valuation? I think this is a MUST!

Way too many people have died!

There has been Mass Shooting during George W. Bush, Barrack Obama & Donald Trump

You are insane!  Where did you get 28 years old?  Pull it out of your behind?  No they do not need to change gun permits to 28 years old.

And FYI to get a carry permit you DO have to take a 4 hour class.  The people who do stuff like this are usually not legal gun owners nor are they carry permit holders.  They are not going to obey the law no matter what.

It is not a gun problem!  It is a heart problem.  Kids are taught from birth the world is all about them.  You can't tell them no.  You can't punish them.  They pass in school whether they do the work or not.  You can't fail them.  They get a trophy for participation whether they show up or not.  Wouldn't want to hurt their widdle feelings. 

So basically when these snot nosed brats grow up they do not know how to handle life.  Like the guy that shot his manager when he got fired.  Never been told no and he couldn't handle it when he was.  There was a deal here local to my town where a guy was fired for stealing tools.  The next morning he goes in to get his check and he shot the owner of the business and killed him.  Stuff like this is not new.  It is just with technology and everybody have instant alerts on everything as soon as anything happens you know it world wide.

Maybe they will. Maybe they won't.  If they get of on the crock "mental illness" they may not go to jail at all.

And jail is a joke so they do not care to go.  They have cell phones, tv in the cells, 3 meals a day, a place to sleep, the opp to work a little job and earn some spending money, can go to college for free, get free medical, and anything else that comes along.  So basically it is just an apartment they share with others and everything is free.  Our local jail it is the same people there over and over.  I don't think I would have to be sent back a 2nd time but it is the same ones.  Over and over.  They do not care to be there.  They like it.

And I do not think this has as much to do with video games as people want to think.  Maybe so.  They sit and play these games for hours and hours every day.  But it is also on tv, in the movies, every where.  Then when something happens you get instant fame and are basically glorified.  I had heard that there was a movie being made or talking about being made about a mass shooting.  WHY would anybody pay to see something like that? But I am sure it will be a huge hit.

I agree. The video game argument is a lazy scapegoat, pointing at a barely secondary issue and calling it the real cause. Video games will only inspire violence if you have underlying mental illness or were never taught morality, respect, the value of life, etc. The vast majority of people who have played violent games, including me and virtually everyone I know, have never had any desire to harm people in real life.

Video games will only inspire violence if you have underlying mental illness or were never taught morality, respect, the value of life, etc. The vast majority of people who have played violent games, including me and virtually everyone I know, have never had any desire to harm people in real life.

You just said it.  It has nothing to do with video games, nor the so called mental illness people use to excuse their bad behavior.  It is all about not being taught to have morals and values or to respect others.

I worked in retail a few years ago and I remember a smart butt punk girl coming up to me and asking me where something was and then burping in my face and laughing as she walked away.  I swear I could not work in retail anymore.  I pray I never have to do that type of work again.

I have also heard that Walmart has a rule you are not allowed to defend yourself if a customer gets physical with you.  Or in your face.  I know I have been told that in places I have worked.  I make no apologies but I WILL defend myself if somebody puts their hands on me or gets in my personal space.

The influence of the occult and these murderous games DONT help,but God gave us a conscience to figure out right from wrong.Sadly some might find pleasure in causing pain to others cos that is also a fleshly weakness.Many might act upon it and not worry about consequences later or a bad conscience.

Look at Leslie Van Houten from the Manson gang.Shes an old lady and been a model prisoner for almost 50 yrs.Yet what she did back in 1969 she deserved to die brutally killing others.The power of the drugs and Mansons influence overtook her and destroyed her life and the lives of others.At the time she didnt wanna resist the desire and she became a murderer.

In regards to another comment, there have been MULTIPLE studies in regards to "violent" movies and video games - there is no correlation to mass shootings.

Did you know that ice cream sales increase in the summer? Guess what else increases - murders. That doesn't mean that more ice cream consumption leads to murder. Correlation does not imply causation. In the case of violent movies and games to mass shootings, there's not even correlation to imply that that is an issue.

Studies I have seen show the exact opposite.  I guess it is just what you want to believe.  I know that before all the violent video games, and movies, and constant murders on television we did not have it happening in real life.  People have done horrible things and then said they were inspired by a movie.  Not sure where you get your info that there is no connection.

There have also been several that when the person is arrested they say they were inspired by some other event that they saw on the news.  They arrested a guy in Florida that was supposedly planning to shoot up a Walmart and he said he was inspired by the shooting in Texas.  Now he says it was just a joke.  And no, I don't think he was really planning it because they would not call the store and say I will be there in 5 minutes to shoot up your store.  smh

I do know I went to Walmart yesterday and was just wanting to get my stuff and get the heck out of there.  And this can happen any where.  And honestly, about every place I go in now I mentally am planning an escape route IF someone comes in and starts shooting.  And I think it is truly pathetic that you have to think about stuff like that.  AND from talking to others, I am not the only one who has done that.
