No, thankfully I haven't. I've seen a bit too much on the internet to be too blindly trusting of people to easily get scammed out of things like that. Or so I hope.

I do get amused seeing the scammers get messed with on YouTube though. Funny seeing them getting upset over video makers/streamers giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Clickers: "Shame on those who scam others"... the poor, the sick, the hard working employee,
the elder. Any one wants something for nothing is a fraudster. The want "donations"...more donations,
even what you are wearing that day they want. I stay away from them...they are not worth my time!

Not really but it made me think of these people who call my house all the time trying to sell me something. I wish all those phone calls would stop. I get them all day long. >:(

No not a friend WORSE my sister - and really my brother as well.  Very sad situation but I am ok with it now.  You can't make people be right.......friends or family.

My boyfriend grew up with a guy and they were pretty much best friends up until the end of last year. This guy friend hacked into his AT&T account and bought two brand new iPhone XS Max's and refused to pay for them. AT&T said it wasn't fraud because he had all the information to get into the account. He did have ONE phone initially on the account, which was what was able to get him the temporary pin to finish login. He wasn't an authorized user though. So he shouldn't have been able to make purchases. But AT&T doesn't agree, so my boyfriend currently owes them around $5,100.

What?! That's insane! A lifelong friendship thrown away to gain $5000?! Some people are just garbage. I feel so sad for your boyfriend!
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

Unfortunately, there are too many people out there like that.  You trust them and they take advantage of good people and destroy their credit.  They are so versed in fraud and deception and they know every angle how to get away with it.  It's downright sickening.

I've met some pretty questionable people.  I care about people like those who are homeless but have learned that I have to be careful.  It's one thing to care about someone and another thing to tolerate unacceptable behavior.
Have a great day!

I've met some pretty questionable people.  I care about people like those who are homeless but have learned that I have to be careful.  It's one thing to care about someone and another thing to tolerate unacceptable behavior.

Just because a person is homeless does not mean they deserve sympathy.  I know several and most of them are there by choice.  They refuse to work.  They spend their government check on boos and drugs as soon as they get it.  If your entire family has written you off and given up on you then there is a reason.

I know a woman right now who won't work, would rather steal stuff or dig in the garbage to get a few dollars and live on the street or in abandon houses than to get a job and pay rent somewhere.

They interviewed some homeless people locally.  The guy said I am homeless because I spend my monthly check (it was a disability check for being  drunk) on beer.  He had a beer in his hand and the time.  HE held it up for the camera and he laughed.

My cousin saw an older guy sitting outside Dollar Tree and she said something told her to help him.  She knew he was homeless.  She came out of the store with a bag filled with snacks, waters, some socks, and some hygiene items.  He had the gall to ask her for the receipt so he could take it back and get cash.  She told him no and walked away.  But she said she wanted to smack the stuff out of his hands and take it back.

There are reasons people don't help like maybe they use to.

My ex-husband  turned out to be one  big jerk.  He lost his job pencil the inventory.  playing around  with the bosses security, Got  fired from that job. Went to work with another company and yep  was fired playing around with the owners  wife.  got fired  and I did not know  about  about it at first until I got  Until I got home and  got my  credit card bill. oh  boy did the  you know what hit the fan. There were  about 6  motel room charges on it when I thought he was  working late and  a lot off  . not with me. Also made the car payment with it. Boy when he come home that night I lit into him. He admitted  he was playing around and had been fired. Told him to pack up and leave.  Like a y. They weren't cheap. y I was working while he did it and he stole all of my woodworking tools, I used them to make  dollhouses and the furniture m then  to add insult to injury  he and his girlfriend bought a$1599.00 dollar TV on my name. Crap it was a hard job  getting every thing paid off.

I think I've seen things like this before. Someone posted a picture of someone else to pretend like they're that person. When one try looked at that profile it turns out it was a fake and decided not to pursue that person.

This is so sad.  This happens all the time.  Happened to me and both my daughters.  These people have no remorse, either.  It's like they just enjoy hurting other people.

I had a friend for a long time who I wouldn't call an outright scammer but the type of guy always playing the victim, mostly only came out of the woodwork when he was looking for a handout otherwise he didn't have much time for me. As soon as I called him on it he blew up at me and we never talked again. I guess I was of no further use, lol
