I want to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th. If you are lighting fireworks or going to see them be careful. I have seen too many accidents over the years.

I'm going to watch the Macy's Fireworks Show also.  I have been to many live ones over the years and it is extremely humid here.  I am going to pass on the live show for those reasons.  I will be watching from the safety and comfort of my couch.  Everyone else, be safe and enjoy!

I hope that people are teaching their children the true meaning of the holiday. It kind of gets lost in the shuffle with people being off work and doing the firework thing. 

And don't forget to thank a veteran. We owe them so much and they're so grateful when you acknowledge their service.

Thanks for your good wishes. My family stays safe by staying off the roads and by not lighting any fireworks at our house at all. Some kids down the street from me are setting some off and I worry about them getting hurt.
