How often do you eat Instant Ramen ?

I use to eat it a lot, especially as a kid, but not as much as an adult.

I saw a video of Ramen noodles being made out of plastic and haven't felt the same about it since.

Ok let me backtrack a little bit; I still eat it although I know it's not the best for our digestive systems; I rationalize that I ate tons of it as a kid and am fine.  I like their new Chilli Lime shrimp flavor.

I have the Costco rice ramen which has me believe that I am eating a little healthier. No seasoning packs I think helps the sodium level stay at a more reasonable level. I sautee whatever vegetables are available in olive oil, usually tomatoes, zucchini, broccoli, red/yellow/green peppers, mushrooms and onions. I top this with a few olives, capers and a table spoon of parmesan cheese. Other times I will stick with more of a mediterranean theme by adding wilted spinach, capers, kalamata olives, tomatoes, pepperoncinis and a little feta cheese. I do this twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, which I maintain as meatless days. I try to go with less carbohydrates on the other five days, increasing my portions of protein and filling up on vegetables/salads.

The cheap price is really tempting but I don't really have it more than a few times a year ever since I found out how bad it is for you.

I had a stage like most people where I ate it.  The problem was it as no nutrients so you are hungry like ten minutes later.  lol

I very seldom ever ate them, although I will use the noodles in stir fry, but the seasoning I pitch it is way to salty and not good for you.  I will also  once in a great while add the doodles to homemade chicken soup, if I don't have the noodles I like to use just because I am too lazy to go to the store for one item. Now hubby  will eat them once in a while in the winter for a snack. But there  again I don't like the  seasoning. So I encourage him to  use other seasonings  to make them taste  good.

I eat Ramen noodles sometimes. My favorite flavor is roasted chicken, and shrimp. I normally wash the starch off of them after draining and use half of the seasoning packet.

Never ... My hubby likes them but I think they are way too salty.

I like the Maruchan Instant  Lunches.  I open the top, add more vegetables or beans and the water and let sit for an hour.  Then the noodles are puffed up and it only takes 1 minute for my meal.  Only 36 cents a meal from Walmart

I don't eat it very often but if something happens to my husband it's about all I'll be able to afford to eat.
