My favorite cookies

It is that time of year when the girl scouts sell the cookies outside of stores. I know they have gone up in prices these days but I always get a few boxes. I not only support the troops but I enjoy the flavors they sell

The Girl Scouts have gone off kilter too much for me so I don't support them by buying cookies. Just my personal opinion. I used to be a leader and also served my time as a troop cookie chairman, but that was before.

The Boy Scouts have a lot of problems as well. Too bad. Hope things get better.

I love the thin mint cookies, but they have gone so high in price I can't justify spending that much for a box.  Sorry scouts.

I buy  a few, even if I  don't  care much for the girl scouts do now.  But I will not disappoint  the little  girls that  I know here in  town . they are trying to do what is expected from them.  so I  end up buying 9 boxes of cookies.  Take them down and share at the ministry of Hope. we don't  eat many of them, But the girls are so proud of what they sell.

A very very very long time ago they had a coconut cream cookie believe me it was many years ago and I loved them but my husband liked thin mints - I am diabetic so I try to not indulge in the girl scout cookie thing.

I know you should buy them to support the girl scouts, but they have gone up so much.  My favorite is the Caramel Delight and now you can buy those in the grocery store.  I think it is Keebler that makes them.

I buy the Do-si-does, which are the peanut butter ones, and the mint ones too of the Girl Scout cookies. Outside of that, I like my own homemade chocolate chip cookies with nuts the best.

I was so excited when I saw girl scout cookies in ice-cream.  I wonder if the girl scouts make a percentage of the sales from that stuff?  I've also got a bad taste left in my mouth over a poor scout leader (2 in fact one in girls and 1 in boys scouts) However I still support the girls I know who are putting forth efforts in sales.  I end up up buying at least 1 box from each girl.  I draw the line with paying $10 for popcorn from the boys though.
