Really Sad
« on: May 30, 2019, 07:15:42 am »
I think our country has hit the lowest of lows.  I think it is the most sad thing in the world when people are more upset over an animal being killed than women murdering their children.

*A woman tosses puppies in the dumpster and the internet comes unglued.

*A local woman killed a rattle snake that struck at her in her own yard and she was fined.

*A woman had in her will when she died her dog was to be euthanized and buried with her and people are having a fit.

*Somebody sees a dog chained up in a yard and they are trying to get the owner put in jail.

And the list goes on and on.  But let a woman say "my body my choice" and MURDER her child.  And the same people are totally fine with that.  I don't know how much longer God is going to put up with this non-sense.

Your own body fine. But it is not your own body that is murdered.

Many states are changing when a woman can get an abortion. Not past 6weeks cause you can hear the heart.  I've always been pro life so happy these changes  are going on. I've known woman who have had 3 or 4 abortions.  Can't you learn a lesson  and use a rubber.have read there are less abortions then in years past  hope that is true.

I'm totally in agreement with you friend it just amazes me and not in a good way where people place their priorities on ethics and life.  Sad is definitely the word for it.

I'm fine with a woman having bodily autonomy. I won't argue about the "but it's not your body" thing. Agree to disagree.

Even the states that have recently introduced the heartbeat bill are being told by local prosecutors that they won't do anything due to Roe v. Wade - so essentially their bill did nothing due to the constitution.

For myself, I probably wouldn't get an abortion unless it was medically necessary. But I'm not going to let my PERSONAL decisions effect someone else and their decisions. We need proper sex education in the US, it's been proven to lower abortion rates. Instead, we take away sex education and expect women to "close their legs", even though it takes two to create a baby. Preventative care is necessary to avoid abortions (obviously with the exception of medical issues and rape) - I wish it were less taboo to talk about.

Hello!

I don't think we should prioritize life. A life of an animal is no less important than the life of a human we all contribute to the world more or less. As for abortion, I'm pro-choice even though I don't agree with abortion myself. If abortion becomes illegal then women will just do abortions illegally and potentially hurt themselves or the baby. I heard a documentary of women going to Mexico to buy abortion pills as clinics being close down. You can't force a mother to be a mom!

Even worse when people go up in arms over illegals, fighting for their 'rights' in America but care nothing about the unsettling, growing amount of homeless veterans who are citizens and fought for this country and even the ones who are not homeless, some are certainly not receiving the care they need.

Condoms are cheap and easily accessible, and you don't need a prescription. Rape pregnancies aside, it's not difficult to avoid getting pregnant. It seems like an accountability issue to me. There are consequences when you take risks, in all aspects of life.

I'm fine with a woman having bodily autonomy. I won't argue about the "but it's not your body" thing. Agree to disagree.

Your comments are contradicting. First you say you don't agree with "it's not your body", implying that it IS your body. Then you say it takes two to make a baby. So then it's NOT actually your body, because you didn't make that baby all by yourself.

Simple and cheap contraception is readily available, so I don't understand the need for abortion. Just go buy a bottle of asprin and have the woman hold one between her knees.

I do not know the stats on abortions.  I know a sl-ut I went to school with who has had at least 6.  If you are going to have s-x then either get fixed, use protection, or quit sleeping around.  It is not that hard.
