The world is disgusted with how Americans heat water = they are just jealous

I use my Keurig to get my water hot for tea or hot chocolate or whatever.  Sometimes I put the already hot water in the microwave to get it even hotter.   I don't own a kettle, really have no use for one, but I do like the aesthetics of a nice kettle left out on the stove.

I use my Keurig to get my water hot for a cup of tea which is a rarity unless I am sick.  If I want a whole pot I use my Bunn coffeemaker.

I don't drink hot tea, so I make my  ice tea by  putting it out in the sun. Sun tea it is called. I only drink about a quart in 2  days.  We  may  heat up left overs if any is left.  I don't use my electric stove  anymore then I have too.  Well for  cooking I do. But if it means I have to heat my oven up to 350 degrees to heat  left over it isn't  going to happen,

I heat a cup of water in the microwave.  Large amounts of water, I use a Pot on the stove.  I don't have a tea kettle.

I use the microwave for heating water up often. I use it also just to warm things up that I  have cooked
instead of making a big mess, it is less work to use one bowl to heat and eat.

It depends. I mainly use the microwave, but if I fix tea, I use a kettle because it heats faster and hotter.

Last year for Christmas I was given an electric kettle. I didn't think we would hardly use it, but we actually use the heck out of it! We use it for coffee, tea, hot cocoa, cup'o'noodles...you name it! Best gift ever!

I don't use a kettle or tea pot, to heat water i use a boiler like you use to cook food in, but for making hot chocolate i would use a cup to put in the microwave.

I use the stove and microwave, depending on what it is. Maybe I should invest in a tea kettle haha.
