First of all let me say that I apologize to overreacting to your overreaction. Lol I realize in that sense I was hypocritical, sorry.

Well, I see that you seem to be new for Fusion Cash while I have been on about 11 years.

Actually, I was a long(ish) time member for years on FC several years ago. I returned and made a new account. And yes I know this is not allowed, I did not realize/remember until after I had done it. I notified FC in a support ticket and told them to please allow me to use this new account and to just take away my $5 sign up bonus. They agreed.

I had a lot of reason to think that Fusion Cash had gone bust and was trying to communicate with other members who were on FC. I was also trying to figure out if FC had gone bust. I have been on other sites that have gone bust and this is how it happens: you can not log in and get an error message.

I understand. I totally get asking about it in forums online. I would probably too.

I knew that Fusion Cash was a member of the Chamber of Commerce so i went to the Chamber of Commerce and got a message that FC was being updated and reviews were no longer available to read. In order to ask a question, I had to open complaint which i did.  I have since updated the complaint asking the Chamber to cancel my complaint and letting them know that FC was alive and well.

I also understand checking resources to find information. But it was one day and I think opening a complaint to ask your question was an overreaction. However, having had updated the complaint to cancel it negates any possible consequence or bad publicity. It is good you did that.

The other two sites were Survey Police and MyLot. FC members are or have been active on both sites. I simply asked if FC had gone bust.  I got two messages from MyLot. Both persons were from outside the country and had never heard of FC.  I have since deleted my post altogether.

I could not delete the post in Survey Police but no one responded anyway. However I updated.

Again, of course there is no problem asking for information in forums. In your previous post I thought you had meant you were reporting to others that FC was bankrupt. Just some miscommunication between us is all.

It never occurred to me that it might be just a server problem and we still do not know that it was. As said, I had a lot of good reasons to assume that FC had gone bankrupt and was trying to communicate with other members who were on FC and or find out what was going on.

Server problems can happen, so can a lot of things. Only the people running FC know exactly. Maybe they will tell us, maybe not. They are not as good at communicating with us as they used to be years ago, that is for sure.

it is said that any publicity, even bad publicity, ia good.

Yes that is said, but is most certainty not always the case. It is a worn out cliche. Of course some bad publicity is bad.. if you are on the news for being an idiot, and your hometown neighbors see, that is terrible publicity for example lol.
Usually that saying is applied to celebrities, as even bad publicity gets people talking about them and buying magazines.

Furthermore, if FC knew that they were going to be down for hours, they should have let us know in advance

I agree. And as previously stated, FC no longer communicates as well as they did years ago.

Some of us have invested a really lot of time, like years, in FC. We have helped build up this site.
Yes, a lot of members have, myself included.

There is still no explanation as to what happened but I am glad to see that FC is up and running. I like the site. I like the green website and missed it.

As previously stated, unfortunately FC no longer communicates as well as they did years ago. But I am liking my return to the site, and I missed it for that day too  :)

It's a shame that there's no forum for FC outside of FC to be able to talk about what's up. I couldn't find much on Reddit either. But in the end I am glad that FC is back.

I Agree!  I checked the usual suspects for information when it was down: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.... and none have been updated in years.  Guess because we're all on the forums here.  I've been on FC for awhile & I've never known it to go down, so hopefully it remains a rare event in the future :)

I am amazed that people are SO upset that the site was unavailable for ONE day.  You would think this was a full time job.  I realize some people call it their job but it isn't.  I did not even get on the internet all day on this particular day but I would not have just assumed the site had shut down.  But assumed there was some sort of a problem and try again the next day.

Such a suggestion might be technically-viable however, it might not be practical in terms of publically-accessable connections.

The irony is that those who need to earn extra cash are more likely to not have computers and rely on public connections. I don't see how the current policy of banning them and anyone who signs up after them (they would have no way of knowing someone signed up before them btw) is practical compared to what I'm suggesting. What I'm suggesting allows for at least one person to sign up from public connections and it gives anyone signing up after a way of knowing if they're the first or not. FusionCash keeps more users this way.

Currently people take that risk because they have no other choice (there aren't libraries full of FusionCash users, so it's not that risky, but there's still a risk). With my suggestion, you get the same results of one account per household, which is what FC wants, without he risk. I'm going to need an admin to point out the flaw in what I'm saying 'cause I don't see it.  :dontknow:

Although "public or shared computer or public internet connection" - does that just mean I can't use some connection from a McDonald's or something or is that restrictive om using the internet connection at a friend's house too? (like a home connection, not public, and not a referral or anything)
We advise that you just use FC from home.  With that said, you can use a friends' private connection like you described, however, that friend (and anyone else living there) will not be able to use FC as long as they live there.  So you (and them) should be quite sure about that before you login.

My issue was similar except that for the whole time that I couldn't logon from home, after a couple of attempts I was able to logon from a friend's house. But once I closed the browser (because I had to go to work) and reopened it later evening that 404 was back again. For me it lasted two days. And since I was just about to cash out when I got the 404 message, I was afraid FC was gone and I was just out of luck for what I'd earned.

Luckily, when I got out work last night, I was able to logon again from a friend's house and the only thing I did was cash out.

It's a shame that there's no forum for FC outside of FC to be able to talk about what's up. I couldn't find much on Reddit either. But in the end I am glad that FC is back.

I want to caution you about logging in from a friend's house. You could get kicked off Fusion Cash for doing that no matter what the reason. FC could even freeze your cashout.

I have been on FC for about 10 or 11 years. For some reason, my account was frozen or restricted for two weeks last year. I have no idea why.  The restriction was lifted after two weeks. I was given no explanation why FC restricted my account. If FC had not lifted the restriction, I would have had to forfeit my earnings and not even been able to get on forum to say goodby.

This week, FC was only down for several hours for me and I was glad to see it come back up.

I have been on many sites for many years. I have had two of my sites go bankrupt. What happens is that you go to your site to click on and get an error message and that's that. It never comes back.

Survey Police and mylot are discussion sites where you can talk about other sites like Fusion Cash but both are so so. Mylot was once a very good site but it has gone through a lot of changes and is no longer the site it used to be.

Please read my lasted research post about logging in from a different location (below)

Maybe one of the admins would want to create an Instagram page for the FC community. I would like to see what others are doing, where are they, by sharing pictures. Talking on forums is one, but seeing pictures is a lot more interactive. Plus, by sharing this forum on other platforms, it's easier to grow our community. Talking by that, Instagram is great for promoting both services and sellings because it has special tools about which you can find more if visit site.

I no longer try to log in every day here because the offers are so little, so I may not even notice.

I don't know if it's really a big deal, as long as it's not all the time without changing your address. Last summer I logged on from work quite a few times since I was without internet for a month. Also I've logged in from motels frequently, even libraries. I've never had a problem with it.

You might have just been lucky. I may be wrong but I think that FC can restrict your account (freeze your account) for doing this.
Maybe, but I don't do it to cheat, I do it because I'm on a trip, or I did it at work like maybe 4 times, because I had lost my internet, but my actual mailing address had not changed. I think if it's on a consistent basis and you don't update your address with them, then they'd maybe warn you (me) about it. But I have moved many times since I first became a member here, and never had an issue because I always updated my address.

I see the last update to the TOS was over 4 years ago. Although I'm sure most of it is still enforced, the part about having to use your own computer only seems a bit outrageous, mainly because people get new ones all the time! Right? I have switched from a desktop, which I still have but no longer use, to a laptop that I bought 3 years ago. Plus, I'm pretty sure there are way more members than there was was even 4 years ago, and I'd imagine it's pretty hard to keep up with whom is logging in from where on which laptop or desktop or phone at how may different locations! I wouldn't want to the one that makes that decision anyhow!
