I'm in mid-Michigan as well!

I was paying $40 until my stylist left to go to Detroit. Now I pay for the drive there and only $25 for the haircut.

I know it's a long drive but everyone else that has cut my hair has messed it up and I have to pay even more to fix it and/or be stuck with a terrible cut.

Zero.  I do my own.  I haven't set foot in a salon in years and don't plan on it.

I know this is mostly women, but I pay $15 and leave a $2 tip, but the unique thing about Sports Clip is they give a trim around neck and ears for free when you need it, so it lasts a lot longer.

I pay $40 for the wash, cut and blow dry and then another $5 for a tip. I know the tip is a little high but my hairdresser always tries so hard to do a really good job so I feel she deserves it.

My girl charges $25 and for that she shampoos, blows it out and styles it which is a deal.  I don't have my hair cut except to occasionally have some long layers cut into it so it isn't so hard to brush as it is very very long and thick.  I think that is a deal but I do give her a good tip.

I pay between $15 and $20 for a hair cut.  I do live a tip and it depends on the stylist and how good a job she does.

I personally do not get regular haircuts. However, my mother has short hair. She used to get her hair cut, and paid anywhere from $20 to $25 to get it done. Recently, however, we purchased a set of clippers and now I cut her hair...free of charge!!
