Yay May! It's also my birthday month!

It is my birth month also. Some  ask me ( boss)  if I had a birthday  this month.  Told him yes and  he ask how  old I would be. Told him I would be 29 and holding.   Well he didn't believe it.  So I told the truth. Not too good at lying anyway.  Just hate to admit I  will be 76.  But still going strong at the Ministry. My favorite  job. and No pay. But I don't do it for pay. I do it to help out in the community. Giving to others. Because without the  Grace of  God I might have been in their shoes.

I am thankful that it is May. The spring where I live starts to feel more like spring since we struggle to get out of the coldness of winter. We do truly have all 4 seasons here and it's awesome to see flowers come out and bloom and the days get sunnier and warmer. There is another big reason why I love May. My birthday is May 15th and while I barely notice my birthday so much anymore it's nice to be in the land of the living becoming another year older.

Wait until you hit your 70s. Seirously though, you're only as old as you feel. I'm still in my 20s; at least that's what my brain tells me. Just wish my body would tell me the same thing.

Hopefully it starts to warm up now! I'm kinda tired of the nice warm days and the next day it snowing. April was confused. Lol.

Thank you for the Merry May wishes and the post! Happy Birthday to de3ik! Thirty six is the new twenty! So much more life to live. I am twenty years older and have started living again (when I am not working). I am using vacation time and actually going places, seeing sites, treating my kids to adventures, and drinking from life's cup! I have seven weeks of vacation to burn, will use three to make maximum money at my second job and do some traveling. My daughter graduates in ten days so I will take some time off to get things ready around the house. We have fifteen family members flying in so it will be a full house. My daughter's class is quite tight so I would not be surprised if we see one hundred people show up to her graduation party. She takes off for Europe the next day.

Thanks for the Happy birthday wishes Tresbn00. I agree 36 is the new 20 since I don't feel a day over 25. I hope to continue feeling like that well into my 40's if I'm able. Congratulations on your daughter's graduation! That is exciting that she is taking off to Europe. Hopefully she will do well in her future endeavors.

Happy Birthday to beatsdrop, sbenkoski and vickysue and the rest of the May babies. I hope you will also enjoy your special day. Thanks sfreeman8 and Laurieandjohn for their birthday well wishes too. You are right that you are as young as you feel. My relatives lived a long time into their eighties and 90's and I hope to do the same. I want to feel young at any age.

I honestly can't believe how quickly this year is going....  Before we know it, Christmas will be here! Yikes. what a scary thought!!!!

May is here, where is the warmer weather.  Some times it's upper 60's then it drops back down to the 40's.
