New toilet
« on: April 06, 2019, 03:36:55 am »
We just had a new toilet put in yesterday. What do you think the cost should have been to install a new toilet?...what would you think is to much to install?

$50.00 to 100.00 plus the toilet can cost lots depending on what features you get or if it was standard.

I would think that installing a new Toilet would cost in between $75 and $150 depending on the type of features of the Toilet. They make these Toilets now that all these smart features and I would Love to have one, but I could never afford to buy one.

Installing a new toilet shouldn't be a real big job for a plumber but they probably do charge you and arm and a leg to do it. I would say $50 - $100 for the labor plus the cost of the new toilet would be reasonable, but how much did your plumber charge you to do it?

Thank God for new toilets because they are blessing from God.
New toilets have so many special features the old ones do not have.

Nothing if you have a handyman in the family. I even think it's highway robbery with the price of toilets! Companies know you need at least one so.... >:(

What the heck.  Is that a Golden throne that was installed or something?  That's some serious over charge going on.  I don't suppose you got more than one estimate for opting for that company to do the install.

LOL, I wish it was golden. we asked around for a few prices and was quoted 650 just to install, not including the toilet, or the seat grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I would say the cost should be between $50 to $100 dollars; that seems more reasonable.

I don't know where you live  but I believe you were  ripped off big time unless they put in a new line  all the way to your  city sewer line. I would  really be  ticked if I were you.

Why do you ask? Shouldn’t that be up to whomever installs the toilet?
