I watched it.  I believe Cohen as he could receive longer sentencing if he lies.  I watched his body language and facial expressions closely and I think he is sincere.  What really turned me off was the lack of interest in the real subject by the Republicans.  They are supposed to be defending the Constitution and not the president.  I mean, they are on the Oversight Committee and I heard no oversight on their part.  Disgusted!

Not sure if it's worth commenting on what Michael Cohen is saying.  He is one of trumps' lackeys who is told to lie or possibly distract the people of the USA.

I watched a lot of the Cohen hearing but not all of it. I didn't hear him say anything I didn't already know in the part I watched. People who love Donald Trump seem to stick with him through thick and thin so nothing Cohen says is going to change anything so far as they are concerned.

At this point, just not sure what to believe anymore, he is already scheduled to do jail time so I am not sure he would have anything to gain by not telling the truth.

One pathological liar talking about another pathological liar in a herd of pathological liars as we prepare to elect yet another liar into office in two thousand and twenty. Politicians over the last three decades (at least), have moved the credibility of any one holding a political office to a position lower than that held by car dealers, insurance salesman and attorneys. I would trust a car mechanic before I would trust any politician. The whole lot is self serving and untrustworthy. I think that we need to minimize campaign funding/donations/commercial time; provide the same benefits that the lower to middle class gets so those in office can better relate to their constituents; limit campaigning to one month before elections; require time spent in a political position before taking on higher posts; be subjected to an extreme background check before making a run for any political position, require that time be spent in the military.

I think Cohen lied all the way through the hearings. The reason he is cooperating with the Committees is because he is being pressured and threatened by Andrew Weissman, the "bulldog" lawyer Mueller hired who will use any tactic to force people to do their bidding. An article I read said Cohen was threatened with his family members being arrested and charged for being co-conspirators in the fraud perpetrated by Cohen.

Trump isn't a politician. That's very clear and people voted for him because of it. Those in office against him hate him because he won't do their bidding. That's it in a nutshell.

Are you watching Cohen's testimony?  What are your thoughts?

I watched it.  All the way through.
He lied to Congress before, at the behest of a sitting president.
He is going to jail for that.
There is no benefit for him to lie now.  And he backed up his statements with documentation.

I did watch some of it. My opinion is Congress is a soap opera now days. It's terrible what is going on with our elected officials. Some of them have gone off the deep end.

That is true.  Over the last 10 years our country has become such a joke.

And it is not just in the political scheme of things it is every where.  People lie.  They do whatever they can or have to to further their own agenda.  To get themselves ahead.

OR they just flat out lie because they dislike someone.  And you get judged for everything from how you look, to the color of your skin, to how much you weigh, any physical medical issues you may have, whatever. People over all are just evil mean vindictive beings who pretty much do not care about anything but themselves.

It is a sad sad world we are living in.

And all this political crap just seems to be making things worse because it is just one more reason for people to hate.

The country is a joke. I'd move if I didn't like my home so much.

Goes the same way with people who don't love Donald Trump... some are going to believe their preconceived narrative no matter what.  Cognitive Dissonance is difficult for some to overcome.   But a known & proven liar brought in to be publicly interviewed by the Democrats on the exact same day Trump is meeting with North Korea, seems like sideshow antics meant to distract.   It's all becoming quite tiresome.
