House Plants

I have an aloe plant! I would have more house plants but I don't have enough space for too many.

I love to see living plants all around the house. Sadly, I rarely have time to take care of myself much less plants. We had a Ficah tree for twelve years and a Jade plant for about eighteen years. They were both gigantic but I never had time to replace them. I was good at watering them every fe days but the soil was totally depleted and there was no where for the roots to go. I was very surprised that my twenty two year old daughter was saddened at the loss of the jade plant. I guess one gets sentimental about things that are in their life, and surroundings, for a large part of their life. She was filled with melancholy when we lost a tree that had stood at the entry to our driveway for two decades. I had to point out that  death is inevitable which wasn't much comfort.

No, I only have a few roses on special occasions, no plants..

      I have a garden window in my kitchen where I have grown lots of herbs for several years.  I also have several large plants in the dining room and the living room  I have a sunroom/office/playroom with lots of sunlight where I grow several plants, start my garden plants and grow orchids.  The orchids my daughter who has a staging/decorating business trades them out in the homes and then brings them back for me to baby when the blooms are gone.

I love house plants. I have 3 house plants in my kitchen.

   I suffer from allergies...so I cannot have any house plants or pets at home.

I only have plants outside.  They always die inside for some reason.
