Moving can be a bittersweet experience. It is nice when you move into a bigger nicer place, but it is not fun moving all your old things into the new place and having to unpack everything.

I agree with you.....moving is definitely bittersweet.  We've lived in our house for 30+ years.  We are in the process of downsizing.    Many items have been given away to thrift stores and to our children.  My rooms have boxes all over as I am packing up what we will take with us.

It is a BIG job!

I once moved three different times within a span of 12 months when I was younger and single and only one of those was known and intended in advance to only be a temporary arrangement. Moving is not a fun thing to do, but it can still be exciting if the conditions are right.

I like being in a new place but hate the moving part.  I have been in my house since the early 90s and hoping to not move out until we are ready to downsize.

Moving is a huge job.  I would like to move from where I am now but if I move again it needs to be where I will stay until I die. lol.
