Boxing Up
« on: February 16, 2019, 06:35:35 am »
After living in our home for 30+ years, we are downsizing.  I am boxing up every room.....room by room.

I have been taking pictures of items that I know I will not have room for.  I am sending the pictures to the kids in a group message.  I have a notebook with items "up for grab" and each child replies if they have an interest in it AND if they do not have an interest in the item/s.

Sweet memories

Good luck on your new adventure.  Thinking of doing the same thing but everything we want to purchase means a mortgage and really do not want that now.

Good luck. Sounds like there may be a yard sale in your future.

How exciting for you. Really, it's the next move with our love one wow not many of us can do that, and you have memory of the move to. I want to do that but my loved one moved to the hospital I don't want that for you, stay happy in your next chapter of your story. Oh and jot down why your adult kids will dismiss that one thing (you save) you may get a hoot.

How wonderful that is. Have an amazing time in your next chapter. I'm sure your kids will grab up all the great items you are giving to them for the great memories that the items hold.
