Right  now I do what I can, but cannot be on ladders to do  the higher up cleaning.  I am thinking about getting someone to come in once a week  just  to do all of the things I can't do and have to depend on my husband to do. Which may or may not get done. Even just once a month would help.  I know once this old carpet  comes up and  tile  goes down it will be much better. That is when it comes up.  I might  buy another  carpet knife and when spring comes and the  windows and doors  can be left open I  might just start cutting it and rolling it up. Won't be able to carry it but sure can roll it. Won't he be surprised.

Sorry you are having difficulty finding someone you are pleased with. I have some disabilities myself but manage to do my work in my home myself still. I may not get it all done timely like I use to but I just do what I can. I hope if the day comes I need to hire someone I can find someone who will do it to my liking.

That sounds odd. I have never hired people to clean so I guess I wouldn't know, but I'm surprised to hear that you can't specify what you want done. Especially if you are home while they're working.

I do not and yes it  can be hard to find someone you can trust and will actually get the job done. My Mom has help because she can no longer do and we live in different states; she found a lady from her church and has been very pleased.

My parents get meals on wheels because of their age and when the rep comes out for their annual recertification they always ask if they need someone to clean for them. My mom always says no, because her house is always clean, but it's nice that they offer. Maybe you could check into that, the best part is that it is free.

I pretty much do it all. My husband may help occasionally or if I ask him to do something specific.

   :in-love:        I'm surprised you can't seem to find anybody that would come to your house to clean and pickup area's that you need help with. You could try to put an ad some place to see if this might help. At this point in my life I tend to do clean my own place.    :in-love:

No, I wish though even thought of getting does dam Robots to sweep my floor and mop but in the end doing it yourself feels more right.

I have my husband help out now. There are things I just can't do any more. We are tight on money so bringing someone in from the outside is difficult.
