I quit watching award shows years ago. The only people I know of who even cares are the performers.

I don't watch the award shows.  Often the clothes they wear are downright gawdy and disgusting.

I have never watched award shows either. They are really boring in my opinion. I don't ever care who wins - only people in the business do, it seems.

I never watch them either (these days I don't know who most of the performers are anyways). :)

Stop watching Oscars, Grammys & etc   :( because it became too political. I will only watch Country Music award shows because it does not political.   :in-love:

I didn't watch the grammy awards last night but I heard on The Talk today about the Motown tribute and how good it was.

I don't usually make it a point to watch the Grammy Awards, but it was on in the background last night.  Smokey Robinson caught my eye in a flame red jacket so I thought the Motown tribute would be worth watching (he performed).  J.Lo, as it turned out was the unlikely pick for the tribute, but she sang, danced, shimmied her heart out to some of the great Motown tunes she grew up with which resulted in some scathing tweets and critiques.  Sad really, but Robinson was quick to defend her because he said Motown was built on the premise of music for everybody.

Its your choice whether to watch or not.  I was working on the computer and listening with a quick glance.  I thought it was relaxed and the music appealing and I am 70!
