Nestlé recalls some Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough bars due to wood chips

The announcement on Thursday applied to two batches of the "break and bake" bar products that were produced in April, the company said. A "small number" of consumers contacted Nestlé USA about the wood fragments, the company said. Although no illnesses or injuries have been reported, Nestlé issued the recall "out of an abundance of caution."

The company said consumers who purchased the dough bars with batch codes 311457531K and 311557534K should return the product for a replacement or refund.

Trader Joe’s is recalling a type of cracker because the crackers might contain metal, marking the second significant recall the budget grocer has made in recent weeks because of foreign objects in their food.

The company announced a recall Thursday for its multigrain crackers with sunflower and flax seeds due to possible metal contamination.

“Best if used by” dates on the back of the recalled boxes are from March 1, 2024 to March 5, 2024.

 Thousands of air fryers sold by Secura are being recalled due to fire and burn risks, according to a notice by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The approximately 6,400 Secura air fryers are being recalled because a wire connection in the air fryer can overheat — posing fire and burn hazards.

Tesla tweaks autopilot software after regulators recall more than 2 million cars

Tesla is recalling more than 2 million vehicles over concerns that drivers can too easily misuse the cars’ Autosteer features within Autopilot, according to regulatory filings posted Wednesday.
The NHTSA found that in some circumstances where a feature called Autosteer is in use, “there may be an increased risk of a collision.”

I’m sorry to hear that. According to Quaker Oats, they have recalled several of their granola products due to the potential risk of salmonella contamination 123. It is advisable to check your pantry and discard any of the affected products.

December 15, 2023 – The Quaker Oats Company today announced the recall of specific granola bars and granola cereals listed below because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be *bleep*), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.

(Reuters) - Honda Motor Co's American unit is recalling about 106,030 CR-V hybrid vehicles due to the risk of fire or injury in a crash caused by an overheated battery cable or short circuit, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Wednesday.

To address the issue, dealers will replace the battery cable, NHTSA added.

Volkswagen to recall 261,000 cars to fix pump problem that can let fuel leak and increase fire risk



The recall covers certain Audi A3s and VW Golfs and GTIs from the 2015 through 2020 model years. Also included are 2015 through 2019 Golf Sportwagens, and 2019 and 2020 VW Jettas. All the recalled cars have front-wheel drive.

The lot under recall is Lot Code 410B2TXT02 with a Best By Date of March 4, 2025. It’s a limited voluntary recall affecting 315 bags of product that were sold by Walmart in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Diamond Shruumz-brand microdosing chocolate bars may cause seizures

Some of the victims in Arizona had to be intubated because of their reactions to the chocolate bars.

Eating Diamond Shruumz-brand microdosing chocolate bars may cause seizures after people in four states fell ill after consuming the chocolate.

Victims suffered a variety of severe symptoms, including seizures, central nervous system depression, abnormal heart rates, agitation, nausea, vomiting, and hyper/hypotension.
