Tesla is recalling about 48,000 Model 3 Performance vehicles in the United States because they may not display the speedometer while in "Track Mode," documents released Friday show.

The recall covers vehicles from the 2018 through 2022 model years. Tesla will perform an over-the-air software update to address the issue. Tesla said a firmware update released in December unintentionally removed the speed unit from the user interface.

It seems that lately there has been a lot of recalls on various items.  Now it is flour.  Not so long ago it was baby formula which caused a shortage in formula that affected a lot of people.

More than 13,000 pounds of frozen pizza were recalled over fears they might have been contaminated with "extraneous materials, specifically metal," authorities said Sunday.

The 33.5-ounce Home Run Inn pizzas — topped with sausage, pepperoni, onions and peppers — would have a "best by" date of Dec. 3, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, or FSIS.

The frozen pizzas in the recall were made on June 6, and the problem "was discovered when the firm notified FSIS that it had received consumer complaints reporting metal was found in the pizza," the agency said.

I have heard about many of these product recalls. What is going on in this World? Many years ago you never heard of recalls except for vehicles.
