Frozen Breakfast sandwiches
« on: January 28, 2019, 07:30:30 am »
Do any of you eat frozen breakfast sandwiches?  We (my older son and I who lives with me) have been trying some lately.  He has gotten tired of cooking breakfast and so we have tried a couple to see what we think.  Had some brand of egg & sausage burritos so far and today we had sausage and egg hot pocket.  Not awesome but better than cooking lol.

I eat the breakfast burritos or the sausage and cheese biscuits sometimes. Usually when I have to go into work earlier than usual and don't feel like cooking. They're not bad when they cook properly in microwave

Not regularly.  Not at home actually.  There's a couple of hotels that I stayed at for work that had them and I would eat them.  They weren't bad.  I think they were Jimmy Dean brand.  They don't taste bad.

Let me get this straight, you eat frozen breakfast sandwiches without cooking them?

I do eat the same type of sandwiches purchased from fast food places, but they are cooked fresh for me. I also throw a few eggs and some chorizzo in a pan and roll my own burittos that is just about as quick.

I've tried a few, but I don't think sandwiches come out very well from frozen. Frozen bread especially gets gross really fast. If you don't eat it the same week you buy it, bleh

They are not as good as a home cooked breakfast. However, I do eat them sometimes when I am not in the mood to cook.

Yes, I eat the Hot Pocket breakfast sandwiches and I love them!  Wish they had more of a selection to pick from from though.

I  try to keep homemade  burritos frozen.  So  on days we don't have a lot of time to cook and clean up we will grab a couple of them and away we go.  We at times will heat the up in the  microwave and then rewrap them too keep them warm and eat them  later. Like  fishing or  cutting wood.  Or just  traveling.  so much better for you.

:)      ;D      :)   I don't eat frozen breakfast foods very often, sometimes I do. I find that they don't taste as good as homemade food or fresh cooked foods. I tend to go out during the work week and get something from a fast food place, just taste good.   :)     ;D     :)

Jimmy Dean makes a lot of good breakfast foods that can be microwaved. I love their sausage and cheese biscuits and they are affordable.
