Getting older
« on: January 20, 2019, 03:04:04 am »
As I am getting older, I realize how much I miss my younger years. I just enjoyed life more, I had less stress, I was healthier, no chronic pain, other than migraines and very active.

There are some changes that I am trying to make to  make things a little better for myself.

Yes but getting older does mean you have more experience and can help younger ones figure out LIFE! I know it isn't easy getting old, but I try and look at the positives.

Aging is not the end of world. It is just a change of life situation.
When I was young, I did not have the knowledge I have today.
Getting older for me is living each day better than the day before.

Now that I am older I have more health problems and more responsibilities … but I wouldn't change a thing.  :in-love:

Getting older is harder and there would be a couple of things that I would change but mostly I am satisfied with my life

I used to be able to play with children like I was a child.  I now I can barely get down on the floor to play with Legos.  I hate that.

My mother is 61 and doesn’t feel old at all. She knows how to manage stress with a meditation site (probably called “Head Space”). I myself have had a rather active membership with HAPPYneuron since 2014 and have cleared out my head to allow more room to remember and think better.

It is hard to believe that I am almost 70. Wow! I don't feel now how I pictured 70 year old to be when I was young. Big difference.  However, I am loving life right where I am.

I still think  am 25 in my head, but sometimes my body lets me know different.  But I think we need to celebrate for all of those who didn't get to live this long.

I agree, I think I can still do things like I could years ago but I find out really quickly that I can't.

It's inevitable - I live in a 55+ communit so all my friends and neighbors are experiencing the same aches and pains I am.  It helps to not be alone with growing older.  Look to the brighter side - We don't have to live all those other problems younger people have.  I wouldn't want to be raising a family with the future as it looks.  :)
