Do you let dogs lick you in the face/mouth?

No, I think that is gross. I see a lot of people who don't have a problem with it though. It's not just the germs for me though, I hate the feeling.

No i would not let my dog lick my face,  I trained him not to lick faces.

Um, no. I would not allow any old dog to lick my face. I am much more discriminating than that.

If they really like me, they can get away with it one time and that would be that. I don't suppose it's a big enough deal to get all bent out of shape over.

People do ask some funny questions in the forum. I hope they don't spend too much time pondering them beforehand.

Dogs are supposed to have way fewer germs in their mouths than we do, so I think it would be OK if they licked my face, but I would be careful not to let them do that around my mouth area just to be on the safe side. It is easy just to wash your face afterwards.

I do not let dogs lick me in face or mouth. Doesn't seem very sanitary.

I don't want them licking my mouth, but I occasionally let them lick my face.  I do find it funny how people think this is so disgusting while not taking into account so many other disgusting things/germs that end up in our mouths.

Every once in a while the dog sneaks one in but I usually try to keep my face away from his cuz most of the time he just winds up head butting me.  When he was a puppy he gave me a few black eyes and face bruises that way.

Dogs actually have cleaner mouths than humans do. That doesn't mean I will let them lick my face. My hand maybe, but never my face. (Besides, if I went to the effort of doing my makeup, I don't want dog slobber ruining it.)

Dogs' mouths are not "cleaner" than ours. They're just different. We have our unique bacteria and dogs have theirs. Humans are more likely to be affected by a kiss or bite from another human than a dog, because a dog's natural bacteria is unlikely to survive in a human.

No, I do not. As much as I love my dog (equivalent of a young child), I would not allow him to do that. As someone else in this thread mentioned, you do not know what your dog exposed himself to prior to licking you.
