I was diagnosed in 2009. It's when the optic nerves are swollen, and you have brief episodes of visual blurring or gray outs. Over time it can cause loss of vision if it gets worst. It mimics a brain tumor. Headaches, vision problems, nausea, and dizziness. It's not a tumor, it's caused by increased pressure around the brain. They say it happens to women of childbearing age but just recently I was listening to a podcast and a man lost his vision when he was 19.
A spinal tap is often required to relieve the fluid in the brain. Is there anyone who has this condition or have heard of it?

It sounds like something I may have heard on the t.v. show "House" It sounds complicated and miserable but it also sounds manageable. I'll pray for your relief and that progression of this ceases for you.  As if the childbearing years don't have enough challenges as it is.
