Job ADS
« on: December 31, 2018, 06:36:32 am »
Has anyone in the paid to click section ever clicked on the "Job Search" tab? Then go on to put in your zip and look at job postings?

It amazes me at how these job postings are riddled with misspelled words and horrible grammar.  Then lists that you the potential employee must have excelled communication skills, and a ton of other stuff that clearly does not apply to the hiring person, the person who posted the ad. SMH.

It isn't a scam.  People are just careless and stupid.  I just posted it is real jobs with real companies. The ads are on the job section of the paid to click on this site which goes to indeed dot com.  People are just stupid.  Look at the news articles. They are the same way.  Full of mistakes, words used incorrectly, spelled wrong, you name it.

My thoughts are I wonder how they get people who are worth anything to reply?  I do not think I want to work for a company who runs ads and cannot properly use their, there, or they're. Or misspell common words.

I would not  respond to them. I think most are scams and if they can get  a hold of your  private information  they would  steal your id and money.   I have always gone straight to the business I wanted to work  at and  gone in  and interview with them. A couple I  I didn't get but oh well. Every other job  I went to and applied to I got.  And always have a great resume with out any lies in it to make you look better because they can and will catch it.  Be honest and up front with everything.

Hello! :D :)

That is unfortunate to see things like that and it also means some extra research is needed to make sure the company is legit. In general, when you search for anything online you have to be careful. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

You are not understanding.  IT IS NOT A SCAM!  The last one I did respond to.  Not thru the ad.  I called the company directly and he told me to bring my resume and he interviewed me that day.  THERE IS NO SCAM!  It is real jobs and real job postings.

The question was how you feel about a company that posts job openings that are riddled with mistakes? Would you still apply to work for the company? It is a real job. It is a real opening. The HR person who posted the job is just too stupid to make the post professional.

And there is no info to get other than a name and address.  I do not provide a social security number to any company unless they hire me.  If it is asked for in the applying process I tell them I will provide this if I am hired.

It is legit jobs.  One of them was for CVS.  It is a mega huge company.  The job posting was real.  The poster was just stupid.  I do not follow links at all.  If I see something I am interested in I will go directly to the company website and search for the job. If it is not listed I have in the past called the company and reported the post.  The one time I did they did not seem to care.

It could be different for you.  I am curious if it is every where or just my area.  The jobs are postings from jobs in your area.  It is my understanding that indeed pulls job postings from other sources and lists them on their site. OR people can go to their site and put a post/job listing on there.  That is when you need to be careful.  I never follow a link (well I did once) to apply for a job.  I find out where it is and go directly to that company and apply there.
