If I had a phone interview, I would rehearse things that I would say. I do this because I want to make sure that what I say sounds ok. Also if I were mad at someone that I want to yell at, I would rehearse what I am saying in a sensible manner to be sure that I say what I need to say but still speak my mind.

No.  I guess it would depend on the call too.  In phone interviews you have no idea what they will ask so it will be hard to do.  I don't rehearse yelling at somebody.  If you get mad and then have to rehearse what you are going to yell at them then you have had time to calm down.

I don't usually rehearse what I am going to say, but if I am making an important call like inquiring about a job, I want to sound professional. I may think of what I am going to say ahead of time.

No  I don't. If I want a job  will go to the job site and fill out an application.  If I am mad at some one I don't take the time to rehearse I just let them have it.  Most of them are scammers any way and I don't want any thing to do with them.

I don't rehearse if its a usual phone call you know bu if needs to explain trying to think first what shall  I say. Especially  if regards with legal matters that need to be always true and accurate.

When was the last time you applied for a job? You do not go to the job site and fill out an application any more. Nobody does that.  Everything is online. Most places will tell you to either go online and fill out an app or to go online and submit a resume. And most places do not even accept if they are not currently hiring.

It really depends on what the call is about. I don't "rehearse" but I do sometimes go over mentally what I am going to say.

:menorah:   :santa:   :snowflake:  I do if it's more of a business call or work related call. I do this just in case I must leave a message. If I'm calling a friend or family just to talk I don't, I call to say Hi and let the conversion go to any topics.  :menorah:   :santa:   :snowflake:

Most of the time I do not rehearse my phone calls. However, if it is to schedule a service or talk to a lawyer I   Usually do otherwise I tend to  talk too much.  :present: :peace:

it has a lot to do with the relationship and what is at stake.  I do rehearse some of my conversations, either in person or on the phone.

No, I have never done that and it sounds a little weird.  Are these calls to family or a business call?

Not really. I generally aim at asking the other person a ton of questions about their lives because people like to talk about themselves and it allows me to see if we have anything in common with hopes that we can bridge future gaps. If it is important I will try to anticipate what questions may be asked and what the ultimate outcome (for me) from the meeting is. I am very good at improvising and generally know what I want. I try to make my needs sound like something that the person listening to me needs. I used to be somewhat afraid to speak in front of groups but conquered this fear by presenting a speech in front of five hundred people in a speech contest. I came in third but was never afraid of speaking to larger groups after that competition.

It depends on who I am calling and the nature of the call, I may  not rehearse but I do make a cheat sheet  for myself to make sure I get all my questions answered; because sometimes as I am talking I may forget something, so the sheet serves as a reminder to get answer and or clarification.
