Usually the day after Halloween, but I adopted a six month old kitten from Petsmart in September and she (Bella) attacks EVERYTHING. A Christmas Tree and lights are pretty much out of the question until she gets older and mellows out abit.

My daughter wants to start putting up the tree today, so I guess we will.

Trying to get some things done around the house before decorating - should make for an interesting December.

We bought a fresh tree today and started to decorate it. We love real tree. My husband are putting all the lights and Christmas lanterns outside. Happy to watched all this light at night.

The past few years we didn't decorate at all but we will this year. Not a lot, just the tree and stockings. We will probably put it up tomorrow.

I started the week before Thanksgiving... putting the garland up the banister. Tomorrow begins the tree set up.

Seems there are so many houses in my neighborhood with their trees already up. I'm behind. :D

I started decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving. I'm about 3/4 done and should finish in the next couple of days. I always have to start early because it takes me so long to Decorate  :turkey: :turkey: :peace:

I always start on Black Friday.  Usually I do my Black Friday shopping on-line before the Cyber Monday stuff so that I'm ahead of the rush and I don't have to fight crowds.  After that I start putting up my Grandma's old Lemax display with houses and little figures.  I do that instead of a tree this way I can set up all over the house rather than in one spot.

I put my tree up weekend before last.  I had spare time so I got it out of the way.  It is the first time in 11 years that I have put our big tree up.  My grandson will really enjoy Christmas this year.  He was too young last year to know what was going on.
Have a wonderful day!

Day after Thanksgiving does seem to be the go to day as my whole neighborhood is decorated already.  I'm not decorating until December 1st.  I am sure my neighbors may not like it cause I have my Thanksgiving door cover still up but I figure its my house so I will do what I want to do.  It is bad enough christmas stuff does up in the stores as soon as Halloween is over LOL.   :snowman:
