I've actually ordered gift items for friends in the UK from Amazon.co.uk (gift cards in £), but none for my US friends or family from Amazon.com yet.

I actually did a lot of my Christmas shopping on eBay last year. Great prices, some much better than Amazon, on new products!

I love Amazon. Just yesterday my wife comes into my computer room where I am working, carrying her laptop to show me what she wants for Christmas. It was a hot air deep fryer that makes french fries with no oil and I had it ordered in two minutes flat. One more thing off my mind for the next month.

I've heard of those. How do they work? Do you know?  :confused1:

I have not ordered any products from amazon yet. I just browsed the site today. I may order some things on Monday if they have some good deals for Cyber Monday going on.

I haven't ordered from there yet, but I think I will this weekend before the things that I want get sold out or go up in price. Somethings were already out of stock since black Friday.

I rarely use Amazon. My dad has Prime and almost always exclusively purchases from there, but I feel like a lot of the stuff isn't the best quality or is coming out of China (I prefer not to support China, for lots of reasons). My sister just tried to use her debit card on there for wishlist items an animal rescue had set up, and Amazon decided to wait a full week before trying to charge the card, and by then there wasn't enough left on it! I did hear 51% of shoppers will use Amazon for their holiday shopping, so I guess they've been getting a massive amount of traffic recently.

Not just for holiday shopping but because I can just order one item that I need at the time and not have to buy a bunch of it or other stuff to get free shipping.  I also love that you can get vastly different things from Amazon, one-stop shopping!

If this is the air fryer they work great and are so much healthier.  The basket is not that big but works well for 2 to 3 people. You can find lots of recipes online too .
